Job Overview We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our web platforms. This role requires a blend of content creation, digital marketing expertise, and public relations skills to effectively communicate our brand message across various social media channels.

Duties

Respond to DMs, Comments, and Emails
• Prioritize fast, accurate replies across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and customer emails.
• Maintain a friendly and helpful tone that reflects the brand.
• Target same-day turnaround with no inbox backlog.

Monitor Brand Mentions and Social Trends
• Use Brand24 to check for:
• Mentions of Angelus, Lace Lab, Pecard, etc.
• Trending content using key hashtags.
• Viral content or complaints that need fast responses or internal flagging.

Engage with the Online Community
• Like, comment, and engage with creators and customers who tag or mention us.
• Strengthen brand loyalty by making customers feel seen.
• Be on the lookout for potential partners or shout-outs worth pursuing.

In-Store Customer Experience
• Greet and assist walk-in customers.
• Provide education on products and recommendations.
• Offer a welcoming, knowledgeable brand experience in person.

UGC Outreach, Testimonials, and Reviews
• Identify happy customers who might be a fit for:
• On-site reviews
• Public testimonials
• Social media reposts or giveaways
• Initiate contact and offer incentives when applicable.

Content Sourcing and Pitching
• Actively source great content from the community or social media.
• Pitch promising content to Beck for review.
• If approved, coordinate outreach, permissions, and media delivery.
• Track reward status for UGC contributors.

Customer Support Backup (As Needed Only)
• Jump in when the Customer Service Rep is behind or out.
• Help with:
• Front desk duties (visitors, packages, reception tasks)
• Basic email/chat replies in Gorgias
• Answering or routing customer phone calls
• Maintain professionalism and speed while supporting the CSR.

Optional Creative Work (Growth Opportunity)
• If you have experience with:
• Video editing (Reels, TikToks)
• Social media post design
• General content creation
• You may be invited to assist with creative projects under current social media manager's guidance.
• Submission of samples is required to be considered for this upward track.

Requirements
• Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute with high accuracy
• Charismatic and personable both online and in-store
• Fast, clean communicator and you’ll be dealing with dozens of touchpoints daily
• Familiar with or quick to learn:
• Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Youtube
• Gmail, Google Drive
• Shopify or similar CMS tools
• Able to work full-time in-person from our Santa Fe Springs location
• Organized and proactive and doesn’t need hand-holding to stay on task
