Base pay range
$65,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr
The Senior Trader, Social works within the Havas Performance Investment team to actively manage & support the day-to-day trading of social campaigns and drive innovation on accounts serviced by the group. The purpose of the role is to ensure that Havas' paid social media campaigns run smoothly and seamlessly from set up at the briefing stage to invoicing and post-campaign analysis, whilst also growing and sharing social knowledge and expertise across the team. This role reports to the Social Supervisor.
Use Havas' internal tools, processes, best practices, and partner social platforms to effectively run and troubleshoot all steps of the paid social campaign life cycle
Accurately own and manage the complete paid social campaign life cycle
Thorough QA of campaigns in platforms to ensure all media activated is delivered accurately
Use QA as an opportunity to discuss best practices & optimization techniques with programmatic traders
Use advanced knowledge of all platforms to proactively optimize campaigns to achieve various client media and business KPIs
Communicate thorough optimization recommendations with rationale to account leads to ensure KPI goals are being met
Speak to basic campaign trends and rationalized optimizations both internally & externally with support from programmatic Directors
Generate advanced reporting and insights for client reports, QBRs, and client presentations
Understand and achieve Havas Social’s business goals through immediate & effective resolution of campaign issues, both performance and pacing
Effective communication of any campaign issues to the Social Supervisor(s)
Accurate entry of paid social campaign details into pacing tools
Drive account growth through proactive suggestions & implementation innovation
Maintain an organized list of deliverables and communicate any timeline-related issues to Social Supervisors and media planning counterparts
Develop training materials and sessions to showcase knowledge of specific topics and deliver them during new starter onboarding or as necessary for wider team initiatives
Become the primary mentor for social traders, sharing knowledge of processes and activation best practices
Act through both assignment and through example, as the first point-of-contact (FPOC) for social campaign troubleshooting
Support investment teams in day-to-day management and education of client teams
Maintain an active interest in the paid social industry to participate in discussions and technology adoption within the Havas Performance Investment Team
Keep up to date with industry & partner developments
Identify areas of development in internal processes & share thoughts with social team leads
Actively participate in the evaluation, selection, and usage of new features within the Havas Social technology stack
Skills & Qualifications:
2+ years’ experience in the social ecosystem, managing campaigns within Meta (Facebook Ecosystem) & other social platforms.
A strong customer-service mentality
Intellectual curiosity, drive to continuous learning
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Rigorous attention to detail
Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, and Pivot Tables
