Digital Media Planner & Buyer
Location: Los Angeles preferred (Open to SF and NYC) | Hybrid: Onsite Tues/Wed, 9am–5pm
Salary Range: $80–85K
About the Role
We’re hiring a Digital Media Planner & Buyer to support digital media campaigns across various platforms. We’re seeking someone assertive, independent, client-friendly, and highly organized—strong in spreadsheets, presentations, and building decks.
You’ll work closely with strategy, brand, and account teams to plan, buy, and optimize campaigns, with a focus on Asian American media. Experience in multicultural and AAPI advertising is key.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute digital buys across display, video, social, OOH, audio, CTV, YouTube, and programmatic.
- Translate briefs into media strategies using audience insights and market data.
- Manage campaigns day-to-day, troubleshoot issues, optimize for KPIs (ROAS, CPM, CTR), and conduct A/B testing.
- Present performance reports and insights to clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate across departments to align execution with client objectives.
- Stay up to date on media tools, trends, privacy laws, and platform innovations.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in digital media planning/buying (AAPI agency experience a plus).
- Must have experience with Asian American media; open to candidates from other industries with cultural fluency.
- Strong client communication skills and presentation abilities.
- Skilled in Excel, Google Slides/PowerPoint; comfortable building and presenting decks.
- Familiar with platforms like The Trade Desk, Zendesk, and third-party ad servers (e.g., DoubleClick).
- Experience managing budgets and optimizing campaign performance.
