JOB SUMMARY:
Sky Zone is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Paid Media to lead the development and execution of our paid media strategy across digital platforms in tandem with our paid agency of record.
This role is responsible for owning and overseeing the full paid media funnel—driving performance, growth, and brand visibility at scale.
You will oversee media agency relationships, manage multi-million-dollar budgets, and align paid media efforts with business objectives to deliver measurable results in acquisition, engagement, and ROI. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and hands-on executor, capable of turning data into insights and insights into action.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field required, MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 7–10+ years of experience in digital and performance marketing, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or a director-level role.
- Demonstrated success in developing and scaling multi-channel paid media programs with measurable business outcomes.
- Deep knowledge of digital advertising platforms and best practices including Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and programmatic DSPs.
- Experience in a franchise, retail, or multi-location business model is a plus.
- Google Ads and/or Meta Blueprint certifications are a plus.
- Proven ability to manage large budgets and deliver against aggressive performance targets.
- Strong leadership skills with experience building and mentoring high-performing teams and managing agency partners.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and communication skills.
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and lead the company’s paid media vision and strategy across channels (search, video, and emerging platforms) to support revenue and brand growth objectives.
- Translate business goals into integrated paid media plans, optimizing for customer acquisition, member retention, and lifetime value (LTV).
- Provide executive-level insight and strategic recommendations based on performance data and competitive analysis.
- Partner with the VP of Marketing and executive stakeholders to define key marketing KPIs, attribution models, and budget allocation frameworks.
