Paid Media Specialist

Pay Rate/Range: $48.00 to $60.00

Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Location: Remote

Duration: 11 months

Can be in office, hybrid or remote, but must reside in US.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute digital strategy for paid media campaigns (search, display, social) across enterprise and mid-market segments.
  • Own the full funnel of paid media for one product line—from strategy to measurable outcomes (KPIs, ROI, etc.).
  • Drive growth through user acquisition and upsell campaigns; optimize performance throughout the customer journey.
  • Manage and optimize paid media budgets across channels for maximum return on investment.
  • Implement tracking systems and analyze campaign performance, providing actionable insights and regular reports to leadership.
  • Monitor industry trends, platforms, and innovations to maintain cutting-edge campaign execution.
  • Identify and test growth opportunities through hypothesis-driven experimentation and data analysis.
  • Collaborate with field marketing, product marketing, and sales to execute regional media campaigns aligned with company revenue targets.
  • Create bottom-up growth forecasts per channel, ensuring alignment with broader marketing and business objectives.

Education and Experience Requirements

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (4-year)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing paid media campaigns
  • Experience in paid search, paid social, and display advertising focused on lead generation and acquisition
  • Proficiency with marketing analytics and reporting/BI tools
  • Strong understanding of performance metrics and conversion tracking
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed organization
  • Exceptional project management and communication skills

Preferred:

  • In-house experience in the cybersecurity industry
  • Experience running multi-channel, full-funnel campaigns
  • Knowledge of the buyer’s journey and audience personas
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with internal stakeholders (product marketing, finance, sourcing)
  • Strong grasp of marketing tech stack tools and digital technology landscape
