Chai Vision is a high-growth e-commerce company managing a portfolio of direct-to-consumer (DTC) CPG brands, including Lifepro (health & wellness), Joyberri (kids products), PetCove (pet products), Loft & Ivy (home goods), and Oaktiv (outdoor & travel). Our brands are scaling rapidly across Shopify, Amazon, and TikTok Shop, and we are looking for a performance-driven growth expert to help us scale further through paid media and digital acquisition.

  • You thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable leading cross-functional teams, managing agencies, and ensuring full accountability for performance.

What You’ll Do

Performance Marketing Strategy & Execution:

  • Own and scale paid acquisition channels, including Meta, Google, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
  • Optimize media buying, audience targeting, creative strategy, and bid structures to maximize ROAS while balancing customer acquisition costs.
  • Develop, test, and scale high-performing ad creative and landing page strategies in collaboration with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Identify new acquisition channels and continuously explore growth opportunities in emerging ad platforms.

Creative Strategy & Content Optimization:

  • Lead creative strategy for paid media, ensuring a constant flow of high-performing ad creative that aligns with platform best practices.
  • Work closely with content teams, influencer managers, and agencies to develop high-converting ad creative.
  • Drive iterative creative testing, launching and optimizing different ad angles, messaging, and formats to improve ROAS.
  • Ensure creative teams are aligned with performance goals, constantly testing and optimizing messaging angles.

DTC Customer Funnels & Retention:

  • Develop and implement full-funnel strategies to improve customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Create strategic paid media offers that drive high conversion rates and profitability.
  • Optimize DTC marketing funnels, ensuring strong alignment between ads, landing pages, and customer journeys.
  • Collaborate with the Email/SMS team to enhance post-purchase retention and re-engagement strategies.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Manage agencies, media buyers, and performance marketing teams, ensuring clear KPIs and accountability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, influencer, email/SMS, and product teams to drive cohesive strategies.
  • Regularly report on performance, analyzing key trends and developing strategies to maximize revenue and efficiency.

What You Need to Succeed

  • 5+ years of experience in performance marketing, growth, or acquisition for e-commerce brands.
  • Proven track record scaling ad spend profitably ($500K–$1M+/month in media spend).
  • Deep expertise in Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads, with a strong understanding of YouTube, programmatic, and other paid acquisition channels.
  • Strong understanding of CAC, LTV, MER, ROAS, and funnel metrics and how they impact overall profitability.
  • A/B testing and creative strategy experience, with a proven track record of developing and scaling winning ad creative.
  • Strong leadership experience, with the ability to manage agencies, media buyers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Data-driven mindset with advanced experience in Google Analytics, Northbeam, Triple Whale, and attribution models.
  • Ability to think big and execute fast, driving immediate impact while balancing long-term strategy.
