Description
We are seeking an entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for social media advertising to join our dynamic team as a Paid Social Strategist. In this role, you will collaborate with our media and analytics teams to effectively plan and execute social media campaigns, with a major focus on Facebook and Instagram. Your expertise will play a key role in driving campaign success and meeting client goals, making a significant impact in the process.
Key Responsibilities
  • Media Strategy & Plan Development:
    • Lead the research, strategy, planning, and presentation of social media ad campaigns from inception to execution, working closely with internal and client teams.
    • Partner with Account Management and Media teams to understand client needs and communicate insights and results effectively.
    • Develop a comprehensive understanding of media plans and how various channels integrate.
    • Evaluate new technologies and offerings to determine their relevance for client needs.
    • Create and execute detailed creative plans, including ad copy, images, and audience testing, while analyzing and reporting results to clients.
    • Maintain a deep knowledge of Meta offerings and other social media platforms, including Snap, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, Twitter, and Pinterest.
  • Technical Expertise, Campaign Management & Media Plan Execution:
    • Apply best practices for social media management, including campaign setup, trafficking, targeting, and creative.
    • Ensure accuracy and client safety through meticulous QA processes and attention to detail.
    • Optimize campaigns to achieve client goals, using management and analytics platforms to adjust strategies and test new approaches.
    • Utilize research tools and stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and competitive insights.
    • Drive performance through continuous optimization, leading to high client satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Measurement:
    • Assess overall campaign effectiveness by writing mid-campaign and post-campaign performance reports, pulling data from various sources.
    • Collaborate with other channels to identify key insights and details.
    • Provide clear and compelling reporting insights, explaining “the what,” “why it matters,” and “how we're actioning on it.”
    • Explain algorithms, media performance, and ad visibility in simple terms.
    • Present reports to clients, addressing questions and providing detailed campaign information.
    • Develop visually engaging reports and presentations with a keen sense of aesthetics.
  • Team Management and Mentorship:
    • Support the creation of onboarding plans for new team members and track their progress.
    • Train and guide team members on campaign execution, management workflows, and proprietary tools.
    • Ensure the accuracy of their work through regular QA checks.
    • Provide ongoing support and feedback to team members, updating supervisors on progress and areas for improvement.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and fluency with numbers and basic Excel formulas.
  • Excellent communication skills for both internal collaboration and client interactions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple campaigns and tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
This role is primarily remote, with four week-long off-sites each year for in-person collaboration. Depending on your level and client needs, there may also be additional travel to ensure the success of our accounts.
