Job Description
ILIA is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Paid Media Specialist (Paid Search) with a strong analytical mindset and a creative eye for performance ads. As an expert in Paid Social and Paid Search, in this role, you will have the opportunity to drive performance marketing campaigns across social media platforms, search, and shopping, by optimizing strategies for maximum ROI, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.
This role is hybrid and open to candidates based in the Los Angeles or Orange County, CA region.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day paid media execution, KPI-setting, and performance reporting for Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, YouTube Ads, Bing, Pinterest, Snap, and CTV ads
- Closely manage and allocate budgets between campaigns, monitoring paid media performance daily, delivering to the media plan and driving to KPIs
- Analyze, maintain, and improve the following paid media metrics, pivoting when necessary: spend-to-plan, CTR, ROAS, AOV, CR, impression share, etc.
- Make recommendations for daily account optimizations, driving toward performance targets
- Optimize paid search and shopping campaigns by building and analyzing keyword lists, analyzing search volume, and making recommendations to improve ad
- Adjust, build, and optimize paid social campaign strategy based on results, creative performance, launches, and sales
- Drive A/B testing to improve advertising effectiveness via audiences, campaign types, creative focus, etc. to achieve business KPIs
- Carefully QA all campaigns and ads, ensuring little to no errors before launching campaigns
- Discover and test new media opportunities across new ad platforms
- Advise on budget changes based on your expertise and campaign performance metrics.
- Contribute to the growth testing roadmap by bringing forth insights and hypotheses based on paid media performance
- Stay updated with industry best practices, trends, and updates in platforms like Google Ads and Meta Ads
- Track, analyze, and report on metrics to optimize from campaign to individual ad performance
- Create monthly reports and learnings, identifying performance trends that can be applied to new creative briefs and campaign optimizations
- Ensure the paid advertising efforts reach the right audience by strategically selecting demographics, interests and behaviors, when relevant
- Contribute to the ad briefing process, working cross-functionally with digital project managers, creative, and marketing teams to ensure ad optimizations are being delivered and implemented
- Understand and contribute to optimizing all aspects of the paid acquisition funnel to drive performance KPIs
- Impact paid search testing, keyword audits, manage bid optimization strategies, competitive analysis, and budget considerations to achieve optimal ROI.
Job requirements
- 3-4 years of hands-on, in-platform experience managing paid media campaigns for an ecommerce brand, either at an agency or brand.
- Proven track-record of managing more than 7-figures in media spend across multiple platforms
- Experience building, monitoring, and optimizing paid media campaigns and budgets across multiple platforms, with an emphasis on Paid Search campaign builds and optimization. Experience with Meta and TikTok campaign management is highly desirable.
- Ability to generate insights from large datasets using Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Shopify, GA4, Google Ads Manager.
- Experience with project management tools, preferably Asana.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent cross-functional team communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience in beauty is preferred but not required.

- This is the anticipated salary range for this position. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a few factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
