TikTok Paid Media Buyer Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled TikTok Media Buyer to handle the negotiation and procurement of advertising inventory for our clients. Your primary objective will be to ensure that advertisements effectively reach target audiences through high-quality channels while keeping costs to a minimum.
In this role, you must possess a deep understanding of TikTok Ads Manager and you must be very detail oriented.
Your ultimate goal will be to optimize ad exposure, surpass competitors, and effectively manage budgets to achieve maximum impact.
As a TikTok Media Buyer, your responsibilities will encompass strategic media buying, campaign optimization, budget management, vendor negotiation, and performance analysis. By leveraging your expertise, you will contribute to the success of our clients’ advertising campaigns while driving growth for our organization.
Responsibilities
- Help identify target audiences and plan media campaigns
- Communicate regularly with our account rep to get ads pre-approved to avoid account rejections and potential account termination
- Optimize plans and budgets according to the best media mix
- Prepare schedules and adjust when needed
- Ensure ads are creative and displayed appropriately
- Monitor costs and return on ad spend (ROAS)
Requirements and Skills
- Proven experience as TikTok Media Buyer or similar role; experience in digital media is preferred
- Familiarity with media-buying, planning and research
- Interest in following advertising and media trends
- Working knowledge of media analytics software segmetrics
- Excellent communication skills
- Organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail
- Critical thinking skills
