"The Biden For President campaign is looking for a talented creative to join its video team, with a focus on creating engaging and buzzworthy paid media video to reach audiences across the digital landscape. The ideal candidate for this role has experience in short-form ad/promotional video production on the ad agency, TV/film marketing, or brand side, and a passion for politics. Candidates should be comfortable working independently in an ever-changing environment. This position is full-time and based in Wilmington, DE.

Key Responsibilities

• Ideate, produce and direct unique, memorable short-form promo video for the campaign designed to create buzz and deliver compelling messaging in a paid environment.
• Work under tight deadlines to create highly shareable videos for digital platforms.
• Coordinate with the rest of the video and digital mobilization teams to ensure video is distributed quickly and efficiently with editors and stakeholders.
• Develop high-potential concepts for new ads and promos.
• Help manage video shoots as they come up.
• Communicate across departments to ensure that videos accomplish collective goals.
• Guide videos through the internal approvals process.
• Analyze video performance and use data to ensure that videos have the potential to reach millions of people.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years experience producing short-form promotional and storytelling ads and promos for digital, social and/or traditional TV/streaming platforms for political campaigns, ad agencies, or TV networks/film marketing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere.
• Experience editing videos for social platforms and digital channels.
• Familiarity with a variety of different cameras and lighting.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of what works on various social platforms.
• Experience filming at events is a plus, as is experience filming with principals/talent.
• Willingness to relocate to Wilmington, DE.
