The Hired Guns are seeking a strategic and creative leader to be AVP of Paid Media, Politics at an award-winning global digital agency working with high-profile political, nonprofit, corporate, and celebrity clients, all with the mission of changing people’s minds and moving them to positive action. As AVP of Paid Media, Politics, you will act as a strategic advisor and also manage four colleagues under you. You will own all paid strategy for assigned clients, developing client-facing strategy documents while proactively identifying project vision and driving it to completion. You’ll oversee all paid media plans and support team members throughout the media-planning process. It will be your responsibility to ensure strategic imperatives are consistently met throughout engagements. You will also participate in new business pitches and present strategy to clients. You have zero fear of running multiple large client accounts, and you can proactively identify client issues in a timely manner. You’re great at delegating work, but you can also jump in and roll up your sleeves if need be be it editing content for advertising placements, working with designers and video editors to execute visual products, or who knows what.
