About Us

Located in American Fork, Utah, Chamber Media is a leading creative performance agency. With a focus on strategy that leads to conversions, Chamber Media creates video ads designed for driving full-funnel sales and brand growth, amplified by our specialized ad buying team. We're looking for a seasoned and strategic leader to function as our Director of Paid Media.

The Role

As Director of Paid Media, you'll play a pivotal role in leading and growing our talented team of ad buyers. You'll be responsible for developing, implementing, and training the ad buying team on winning paid media strategies that drive client growth and achieve their marketing goals. This leadership position is all about building a strong, accountable, results-oriented team, fostering a top-tier client experience, and achieving significant revenue growth in the team and the business. As a member of the leadership team at Chamber Media, you'll report directly to the President and work collaboratively with other senior leaders in the company to establish targets for your department's revenue growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive paid media strategies across various platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.) for a diverse clientele and train the team on the same.
  • Oversee all aspects of paid media campaigns, from planning and budgeting to execution and optimization
  • Lead and mentor a team of ad buyers, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and high performance.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and exceeding expectations at every touchpoint.
  • Analyze campaign performance data and generate actionable insights to optimize toward client goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our strategies and capabilities remain cutting-edge
  • Recruit, hire, and develop top talent within the paid media team
  • Partner with other departments (creative, account management) to ensure a seamless client experience
  • Interface regularly with the sales team in pitching to new clients and to existing clients in order to grow and retain business.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in paid media advertising management
  • Proven track record of success in developing and executing high-performing paid media campaigns
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, motivate, and mentor a team
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Deep understanding of various paid media platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.)
  • Budget management and financial acumen
  • Data-driven approach with a focus on ROI, particularly with creative assets used in advertising.
  • A passion for innovation and staying ahead of the latest industry trends

Bonus Points:

  • Experience managing a geographically dispersed team.
  • Knowledge of additional and emerging platforms and other paid media technologies.
  • A strong understanding of marketing attribution models and conversion tracking technologies.
  • Experience in using new and emerging technologies in your work, such as AI/ML tools particular to the industry.
