Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Management: Implement large-scale media buys for high-profile public affairs accounts, working directly with clients or advertising agencies.
  • Media Planning: Design and execute media plans across platforms like YouTube, Hulu, Facebook, and Instagram, as well as core programmatic offerings.
  • Research and Testing: Collaborate with clients to create and manage randomized control trials to measure digital advertising effectiveness.
  • Industry Trends: Stay updated on advertising technology trends and adjust media strategies accordingly.
  • Client Collaboration: Work with client services and business development teams to develop media plans and strategies for new and existing clients.
  • Client Interface: Engage with clients to identify target audiences and determine the best media channels.
  • Senior Contact: Act as the main point of contact for selected clients and vendors.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and manage media planning talent, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Project Management: Efficiently manage multiple clients through strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Optimization: Provide oversight and recommendations for optimizing paid media campaigns across various channels.
  • Documentation: Create and manage internal documentation and processes, training the team on best practices and media buying processes.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years in digital paid media strategy and planning, including managing seven-figure electoral and/or public affairs campaigns.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with search, social, and programmatic buying platforms like Facebook Ads, Google Adwords, and major demand-side platforms.
  • Passion: Enthusiastic about planning and managing digital advertising campaigns in fast-paced environments.
  • Research Knowledge: Experience with in-field randomized control trials related to digital persuasion, GOTV, or voter registration.
  • Proficiency: High level of skill in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with problem-solving abilities.
  • Project Management: Relevant experience managing projects, including remote staff and multi-site organizations.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Salary: Annual base salary range of $100,000 – $120,000, based on experience, skill level, education, and location.

Working Hours

This position offers flexibility with the option to work remotely. Our standard office hours are 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday to Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
