The Role Wpromote is looking for a sharp SEO Coordinator to join our SEO team. We’re looking for someone who is excited to dive head-first into the ever-changing world of SEO and learn how to develop and run the most impactful SEO campaigns around. The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $42,000 - $55,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. Please safeguard yourself against possible scams and contact us if you encounter any suspicious activity. #LI-JJ #LI-Remote You Will Be - Providing support for search engine optimization campaigns for multiple clients - Assisting SEO Managers with day-to-day tasks and client work - Work with SEO Managers to create client keyword strategy and on-site optimization recommendations for titles, descriptions, headlines, copy updates, and internal links to improve organic visibility - Learning, auditing, and implementing technical optimizations - Hitting required deadlines - Staying up-to-date with the SEO industry through reading blogs and working with a diverse set of accounts - Applying best practices or new recommendations to client work and sharing wins, SEO tactics, and new ideas with SEO department team You Must Have - 1-2 years of prior SEO experience is preferred but not required: candidate should understand the basics of SEO such as keyword research & website architecture, be familiar with Google Analytics, and grasp the basics of content marketing strategy - Fluency with MS Office & Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Internet proficiency are required - Proven track record of successful project management and multi-tasking skills - A desire to work with clients directly - Experience working directly on websites as well as knowledge of CMS such as WordPress, Shopify, or Magento, is a plus - Ability to work under tight deadlines, think on your feet, work with limited resources, and assist with multiple campaigns - Ability to quickly pick up new skills and learn new tasks while demonstrating strong attention to detail - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
