Job summary

We are currently seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to lead Paid media to help manage, grow and optimize our advertising channels in order to help achieve Amazon Go's business goals.

This is a position requiring strong skills in all areas of media planning, buying and optimization of traditional and digital channels, through internal and vendor relationships, RFP, rate negotiations, execution and performance reporting.

A successful candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and have proven experience planning and executing campaigns across multiple channels.

They will be a blended balance of media strategist, campaign manager, relationship builder and analyst.

They will be comfortable working autonomously, yet skilled in working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders including influencing leadership teams, Design, Legal, Finance and outside agencies and vendors.

As owner of the paid media program you will be responsible for setting the vision of your channels, bringing new innovative ideas, and implementing them successfully at every stage of the process from strategy, sourcing, QA, optimization and attribution/reporting.

You will define tools and processes required to bring your channels to life.

You will use internal and industry data to recommend and execute media plans across paid channels (Out-Of-Home, Search, Social, Digital, etc.) that delights customers, drives awareness of and traffic to our stores (opening and ongoing).

Key job responsibilities

  • Creating paid media strategies and plans to drive awareness and acquisition for Amazon Goo Develop paid media performance metrics and KPIs
  • Analyzing campaign performance data to provide attribution, actionable insights and drive optimization to meet business goals.
  • Presenting strategy, learnings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Develop scalable systems, processes and capabilities that will enable the media team to operate efficiently
  • Identify new innovative ways to expand our paid channels.
  • Manage end to end execution of paid media channels, i.e. strategy, creative direction, trafficking, etc.
  • Lead the partnership with our media agency and external vendors, maintaining a constructive and effective relationship.
  • Lead and work cross functionally to ensure measurement excellence through media tracking, attribution, ROI, and other marketing measurement models/tools to enable us to monitor and improve performance.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
