5.11 Tactical is seeking a full-time Paid Social Specialist to support paid social marketing channels in a fast-paced, test and learn environment. The Paid Social Specialist will be responsible for design, creation, and execution of campaigns within the paid social marketing channel, as well as reporting, presenting and decision making to leadership. This role will work cross-functionally across all areas of marketing including, email marketing, channel marketing, creative and content, eComm and finance to coordinate efforts and ensure alignment on campaigns and budgets.

The Paid Social Specialist must possess strong organizational and multitasking skills and the ability to take the initiative to consistently improve our digital marketing efforts. This role reports to the Digital Marketing Manager and is based in Costa Mesa.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, design, implement and maintain the paid marketing funnel across multiple paid social media channels, including but not limited to: Meta, Twitter, Reddit, TikTok, Snap and more
  • Conceptualize and implement paid social prospect journeys for each product line, helping to guide the end users to the products that are the right fit for them
  • Operate within the paid social budget and maintain profitability for both acquisition and retention initiatives
  • Scale the complexity of our paid social channels while maintaining or increasing efficiency
  • Build and utilize advanced campaign reporting to derive actionable insights and learnings to apply across accounts
  • Have a strong creative eye and POV on what resonates with consumers and optimize content/messaging accordingly through deep collaboration with internal and external partners
  • Be an expert in driving DTC eComm and Retail business and stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, platform opportunities
  • Implement other projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should have the following credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally executing paid social and other lifecycle marketing initiatives in a DTC or agency environment
  • Experience building, managing, optimizing and reporting on all main social platforms is a must
  • Experience maintaining and optimizing data feeds, catalogs, and pixels
  • Experience with analytics and data tools, Google Analytics is a plus
  • Great communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and efficiently and give consultative advice to leadership
  • Ability to think strategically, balancing short- and long-term objectives by being both a strategic thinker as well as a driver of operational excellence
  • Thrive working in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized
