This document outlines the details of your role, responsibilities, compensation, and the perks that come with the role of Paid Media Manager at Lola Blankets.

2. Position Overview:

As Paid Media Manager you will be responsible for acquiring new customers through all paid advertisement channels, e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Google, and Tiktok. The role will require creativity, collaboration, and learning new techniques and skills as needed.

3. Responsibilities:

Paid Ad Content Strategy

• Develop and execute a comprehensive paid advertising content strategy across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Google, TikTok) to acquire new customers and drive conversions.
• Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to optimize ad performance, including testing different ad formats, messaging variations, and audience targeting strategies.
• Stay updated on industry trends and platform changes to continuously refine and evolve the paid ad content strategy for maximum effectiveness.

Paid Ad Spend Optimization:

• Manage the allocation and optimization of paid advertising budgets across different channels and campaigns to maximize return on investment (ROI) and achieve acquisition goals.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and cost per acquisition (CPA) to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Implement bidding strategies, audience segmentation, and other tactics to improve ad performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with finance and analytics teams to track and analyze ad spend performance against budget and forecasted targets.

New Channel Development:

• Research, evaluate, and execute launching on emerging advertising platforms (e.g., reddit, pinterest, podcasts, TV)
• Experiment with new channels and ad formats as needed to diversify acquisition channels and reach new audiences.
• Collaborate with platform representatives and agencies to stay informed about beta programs, new features, and best practices for advertising on evolving platforms.

Reporting and Business Communication

• Develop and maintain reporting frameworks and dashboards to track and analyze the performance of paid advertising campaigns.
• Generate regular performance reports and insights for stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for optimization to help inform creative efforts

Working Cross Functionally with Design and Social Media Colleagues

• Collaborate closely with design and creative teams to develop compelling ad creatives that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
• Coordinate with social media colleagues to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across paid advertising and organic social media efforts.
• Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and creative briefs effectively to cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless execution.
• Solicit feedback and input from design and social media colleagues to optimize ad content and strategy based on audience engagement and performance data.

By effectively fulfilling these responsibilities, the Paid Media Manager will play a pivotal role in driving customer acquisition and revenue growth through paid advertising channels.

4. Compensation and Benefits:

• $80-125K/year salary (based on experience)
• $10K one time signing bonus (to be repaid to Lola Blankets if employee chooses to leave Lola Blankets prior to two years of full time employment)
• Performance bonus of up to 15% of salary to be paid end of December based on company and individual performance (criteria to be agreed upon in first 1-2 months of employment)
