What is the Role?
We are looking for a Paid Media Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for building, managing, and scaling Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, and Tiktok ad campaigns that meet or exceed designated campaign key performance indicators for our customers. Your focus will be on one of our brands: AFRM. AFRM stands for an affirmation of one’s self and one’s style. Additional job details include:
- Managing the infrastructure that powers those ads (audiences, custom conversions, ad creatives, etc.).
- Ongoing management of performance media budget, execution and performance reporting, identifying opportunities to shift budgets across platforms, phasing and creative based on data.
- Partnering with marketing and internal design teams to create a holistic strategy and high-quality experience across all AFRM digital touchpoints.
- Assisting with the development, creation, execution, and measurement of all SEM, SEO, affiliate, and paid media programs to drive awareness, engagement and conversion
- Day-to-day management of optimizations within platforms including turning off underperforming ads, switching out custom audiences, experimenting with strategies, etc.
- Trafficking ads across Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads Manager and Microsoft Ads Manager ensuring QA across naming conventions, copy, creative, landing pages, UTMs and various trackers.
- Collaborating with the internal media team to determine necessary ad specs and creative versioning to launch evergreen or campaign/promo-based ads; keeping track of UTM naming conventions, and passing off relevant creative to DSP (HTML5, video, etc.)
- Direct communication with platform reps to troubleshoot issues, identify testing beta opportunities and aligning brand strategy to platform best practices
- Managing A/B creative testing strategy to identify best messaging, visuals, audience, and landing pages based on statistically significant results; report back to in-house creative team on findings to inform future creative strategy
- Ad hoc analyses to assess under-performers, identify areas to change, etc.
- Support the road map and strategy for DTC market expansion.
- Reports directly to Natalie, our Brand Director at AFRM.
What is required?
- Highly organized and detail oriented with excellent time management and communication skills.
- Analytical, comfortable with numbers and also creative, and a great problem solver. You are able to analyze data and draw conclusions/insights from it.
- Eager to get your hands dirty in everything from analyzing data to building out campaigns to updating audiences and more. You are a self-starter with a can do attitude. You are able to execute upon multiple projects and work agaist tight deadlines.
- Creative with a passion and talent for making high-converting ads.
- Possess a deep understanding and comprehensive experience across all marketing channels that support E-commerce growth and retention.
- Self-starter, proactive, ability to prioritize and shift focus with ease and flexibility - you are excited to dive in, build quickly and drive output.
- Not afraid to jump in where needed - no task is too big or too small for you, and you are willing to help your team before you are asked.
- Desire to be part of a tight-knit team and comfortable working with ambiguity.
- Proficiency in Google Docs, Excel, Word and Keynote/Powerpoint
- Familiarity with digital platforms such as Shopify Plus, Klaviyo, Attentive, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Microsoft Ads, YouTube, TikTok, Pepperjam, and Criteo.
- Light HTML experience/understanding is required.
- Must be able to work in person at our Culver City office 5 days per week.
