We now have an opportunity for a talented Head of Paid Media to join the team.
SharkNinja continues to grow in North America, and this role will be crucial in achieving our ambitious goals in 2024 and beyond. In this role, you will lead a North American team across all paid media channels and ensure we take a best-in-class approach. The successful candidate will be a thought leader, with the ability to think strategically and long-term, whilst also being pro-active to successfully drive BAU performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full autonomy to define and own the paid media strategy for North America across PPC (Search, Shopping, Display/Programmatic & YouTube) and Paid Social (Meta, TikTok etc.)
- Oversee the execution of campaigns within the paid media team to ensure we take a best-in-class approach.
- Accountable for key paid media performance metrics, versus our forecast and with a focus on Revenue/ROAS/Cost%
- Ensure the team apply a data-driven approach and continuously explore opportunities to automate, activate & optimize efficiency/ROAS across paid media channels
- Manage, mentor and inspire the Paid Media team
- Promote a culture of development and learning. Identifying key skill/knowledge gaps in the team and ensuring training is available
- Build and develop strong relationships with platform partners (Such as Google & Meta) and develop joint roadmaps to hit targets and upskill the team
- Ensure platform hygiene is of a gold standard
- Establish Display & Paid Social as successful acquisition channels and increase their revenue share mix
- Challenge the assumptions about what good looks like and use data to prove it
- Collaborate with performance marketing and channel specialists to drive multi-channel performance across our full range of product categories
- Collaborate closely with the marketing measurement team to adapt and evolve our tracking/measurement strategy for paid media channels to ensure we continue to win despite changes to cookies and the decline of third-party audiences
- Define and execute SharkNinja’s first-party data acquisition strategy to improve audience targeting and performance

- Regularly present performance data/strategy/opportunities to senior stakeholders
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders including the wider Marketing team, Commercial Finance, Trading & Ecom/Conversion
About you:
- 6+ years’ demonstrable hands-on experience across PPC and Paid Social (Google & Facebook essential)
- 3+ years’ experience in managing and developing a successful team
- Proven experience owning budgets exceeding £1m per month
- A strong commercial acumen and results driven
- Strong analytical, strategic and mathematical skills, along with meticulous attention to detail
- A motivated self-starter who is ambitious & curious, with a desire to test new ideas
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work with a variety of styles and personalities
- Great communication skills and good at expressing reasoning and recommendations both verbally and written
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a proven track record of being able to multitask
- Full certification for Google Ads & Bing is preferable
- Experience using SA360 would be advantageous
- Experience working in an eCommerce environment is essential
This role sits in our Needham, MA office 2-3 days a week
