OPPORTUNITY
OBI Creative, a fast-growing marketing strategy company, is expanding its Performance Marketing team and is looking for a creative, influential, and critical thinking Paid Media Manager.
The Paid Media Manager will be responsible for developing/planning, executing, and managing comprehensive, data-driven digital and traditional advertising strategies and campaigns for multiple clients, including ongoing campaign optimizations that deliver on the clients goals & objectives for their investment.
A successful candidate will possess a strong foundation in performance marketing with a growth mindset and be able to create, monitor, analyze and interpret detailed reports on campaign performance. They will proactively provide insights on the entire customer acquisition funnel from channel to targeting, creative to landing page, and post-purchase/engagement.
You would be the trusted source of industry best practices and analysis, as well as tracking and managing the performance of the campaigns. This role is heavily performance and data-centric, focusing on future-forward strategy, innovation, and best practice testing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a team of media buyers and provide direction, guidance, and mentorship to achieve campaign objectives.
- Plan media campaigns utilizing multiple digital and traditional channels and tactics to meet or exceed clients KPIs/goals, including budget allocation, forecasting performance, benchmarking, A/B testing, etc.
- Develop data-driven personas/audiences using internal research tools, client knowledge, and zero third-party data.
- Measure and report the performance of all digital marketing and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs). Continuously explore ways to show attribution for all channels.
- Identify trends and insights, optimize spend and performance, brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies, and ensure all budgets are pacing correctly. Translate insights and learnings into relevant marketing outcomes
- Develop and execute A/B or multivariate tests, for key paid media performance levers such as ad copy, creative and landing pages.
- Supervise the media buying team to achieve goals focusing on continual process improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams, clients, and senior management.
- Attend and lead meetings with clients and internal teams as needed.
- Ability to assess the business, identify opportunities, and promote growth
- Ability to troubleshoot team and client problem areas and suggest a remedial course of action
- Remain up to date on the latest trends, emerging channels, and best practices in paid media
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing campaigns using multiple digital and traditional channels and tactics; including paid search, paid social, programmatic, connected and broadcast TV, OOH, and streaming/terrestrial radio.
- Experience managing media at an advertising or marketing agency.
- Expertise in cross-channel tactical planning for performance and brand KPIs.
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
- An in-depth knowledge of analytics and attribution tools (e.g., Google Analytics), Google Ads/MCC, Facebook Business/Ads Manager, Google Analytics, DSPs, GTM, and other similar platforms.
- A self-starter who can work autonomously with agility, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and develop strong relationships within and across teams.
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of budgeting, reconciliation, and time management.
- Demonstrate a commitment to quality, detail-oriented, and critical thinking.
- Strong written and oral communication.
