Key Responsibilities:Retailer.com Media and Advertising Management:
- Develop and execute retail media and advertising co-op plans in collaboration with major retail partners (such as Sephora, Ulta, Macy's, Amazon), including sponsored placements, onsite ads, banners, Criteo, etc.
- Execute strategies to consistently hit revenue and margin targets
- Allocate budgets effectively across different retail partners and campaigns, ensuring optimal use of resources for maximum impact.
- Monitor ROI and adjust strategies accordingly to ensure efficient spending and high returns.
- Utilize data analytics to gain insights into customer preferences and buying patterns specific to each retail partner.
- Continuously refine media and advertising plans based on performance metrics, shopper feedback, and evolving market trends.
Paid Social Advertising:
- Implement paid social media advertising campaigns across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
- Continuously optimize campaigns and spend on a daily basis, based on performance metrics to achieve maximum ROI.
- Monitor campaign and competitive trend data to identify opportunities or challenges
Audience Analysis and Segmentation:
- Conduct detailed audience analysis to identify target demographics for each product line.
- Utilize data and insights to segment audiences effectively and tailor advertising efforts accordingly.
Cross-Channel Campaign Coordination:
- Coordinate campaigns across retail media and social platforms to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
- Leverage insights from both channels to inform overall marketing strategy and product positioning.
Performance Monitoring and Analytics:
- Track and analyze the performance of retail media and paid social campaigns.
- Generate regular reports detailing campaign results, audience insights, and recommendations for optimization.
Budget Management:
- Allocate and oversee the budget for both retail media and paid social advertising.
- Ensure cost-effective distribution of resources for optimal campaign performance.
Collaborative Efforts:
- Work closely with internal teams, like sales, and external retail partners to align goals and strategies.
- Liaise with product team to understand product features and benefits
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in paid media strategy, planning, and execution, preferably in the beauty or consumer goods industry.
- Analytical approach, with an emphasis on data driven decision making
- "In the weeds" mentality, owning and knowing details about customer, audience, product, campaign, and retailers with a passion
- Ability to collaborate effectively across various teams and with external partners.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
