Description
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our AWS Central Paid Media Team. This team is focused on increasing the efficiency of paid media programs by enhancing AWS marketing technology and deploying best in class solutions across the globe.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead account-based marketing initiatives, interfacing with advanced lead management technologies to refine and elevate lead-based marketing programs.
- Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team comprising marketing professionals, engineers, analysts, and data scientists.
- Draft detailed requirements documentation and compelling user stories to rally stakeholder support and guide the product development trajectory.
- Actively participate in strategic discussions to contribute to the overall marketing strategy and effectiveness.
- Play an instrumental role in influencing the product roadmap, bringing to bear your technical acumen and account-based marketing expertise. You will need to engage deeply with technical tools and processes.
- You should have a track record of successful cross-functional collaboration, demonstrating the ability to work with diverse teams to achieve business goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for creating persuasive content that captures attention and drives decision-making.
- A "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude to problem-solving, displaying confidence and competence in leveraging technology to address marketing challenges.
A day in the life
As a Senior Product Manager at AWS, you'll start your day reviewing performance metrics from recent lead-based marketing campaigns. You'll interface with the lead management system, identifying efficiency improvements and strategizing with the marketing tech team. Post-lunch, you engage in a collaborative session with engineers and data scientists, discussing new features based on your requirements documentation. The afternoon is for drafting user stories and updating the product roadmap, followed by meetings with cross-functional teams to align on priorities. Your day ends with a check on upcoming project timelines and a brief period for strategic planning.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market.
