The Media Manager, Paid Social works with truth's Marketing Department, a 20-member team which directs all marketing initiatives for the organization truth campaign.

Social media is key to growing our audience reach and engagement for truth campaign (visit: thetruth.

The Media Manager, Paid Social will be responsible for holistic strategy, media planning, optimization, and managing the Paid Social team.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional media planning, buying and reporting abilities.

In addition, this person must be able to work across multiple groups within the marketing team and across departments, as paid social touches multiple fronts in our engagement ladder, from national brand to experiential marketing and online/on-the-ground advocacy.

Strategy & process implementation for paid social across all platforms (e.g. TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook/Instagram, etc.)

Manage and oversee the quality, accuracy and timeliness of Media Buyers work

Create and present digital media plans to internal teams and stakeholders and/or guide Paid Social Media Buyer on planning strategy

Plans typically include analysis and recommendations on targeting, geography, scheduling, support level & budget

Ongoing direct contact with vendors/partners, specifically Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest, and Reddit

Analyzes media alternatives and make recommendations as to how to best allocate the advertising budget

Provides guidance to and mentors Media Buyers to ensure their successful professional development

Manages content workflow for paid media creative deliverables and thetruth.

Implement best practices for Paid Social campaigns across campaign structure, bidding/optimizing, creative, targeting, etc.

Minimum of 5+ years working in paid social advertising or social analytics at a brand, publisher, agency, or similar

Bachelor's degree or higher

Strong knowledge of the existing paid social landscape and enthusiasm for discovering new, emerging platforms or capabilities that increase efficiencies and engagement

Proven track record of managing and executing campaigns using native platform tools such as Facebook Ads Manager/Power Editor, Twitter Ads, Snapchat Self-Service, and/or other biddable ad buying platforms

Strong analytical skills with the ability to comfortably translate large data sets into actionable takeaways and insights

Hands-on experience working with onsite (website) pixels (Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter) for retargeting/remarketing tactics

Hands-on experience working with first party CRM lists and DMP/Liveramp audiences to create social audiences (both exact-match and look-alikes)

Experience with social analytics or insights platforms

Strong verbal and written communication skills (experience with client-facing communication a plus)
