Paid Media Director
Job Description
OpenMoves is seeking a Paid Media Director to join our digital agency. OpenMoves is a performance marketing agency that provides Paid Media services to clients in the USA and around the world. OpenMoves is owned by Ionik and sits alongside a number of sister agencies including Q1Media.
We are seeking a Director for our Paid Media team to lead strategic efforts across the whole Paid Media group, including managing a team of Paid Media specialists, contributing to and leading Paid Media projects for strategic accounts, and driving best practices, processes, and operations for the Paid Media team.
The Paid Media Director reports to the VP of Paid Media and is a strategic role with responsibilities that include people management, process management and improvement, working on client accounts in a leadership capacity, working with senior leadership on organizational structure, tools and software, reporting, and more. The overall goal of the role is to increase client success and retention, contribute to team growth and organization, contribute to process and technology improvements, and work to lead some key client accounts.
Job Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of paid media specialists
- Lead strategic client accounts
- Work directly in paid media accounts where needed
- Communicate with leadership internally and client-facing
- Participate in overall agency strategy including process, tools, operations
- Operate aspects of Paid Media business on a day to day basis
- Participate in org structure planning, hiring, and overall team management
- Collaborate with other firms in the Ionik ecosystem
- Support Paid Media VP in overall firm management, growth
- Solve challenges as they emerge, nimble in day to day operations
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in digital agencies
- 5+ years experience in leadership and people management
- 7+ years in general digital media / marketing industry
- Proven digital agency leadership experience
- Strong technical expertise in Google Ads, Meta Ads, analytics, data
- Proven people management skills, building and leading teams, managing people
- Strong communicator, speaks confidently at an executive level, polished presence
- Handles challenging clients and situations
- Track record of driving success in an agency / professional services capacity
- Skills on Google Analytics, other PPC platforms, SEO, ETC beneficial to success
- Ability to directly manage Google Ads / Meta Ads as needed
- Strong with data, experience with data and reporting platforms
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $140,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
