Paid Media Specialist
Randstad US is seeking an experienced Paid Media Specialist who can bring their digital knowledge and experience in creating and executing successful omnichannel marketing campaigns to our team. This full-time role will be an integral part of our Growth & Performance marketing team. Co-lead the evolution of the paid digital strategy for Randstad initiatives in the U.S. including driving customer acquisition and activation efforts like mobile app downloads for job seekers and clients looking to hire.
This position requires a unique blend of skill sets including customer acquisition marketing strategy, digital media activation, campaign planning, agency experience, and the ability to collaborate across complex organizations and global teams.
In this role you will be responsible for paid media implementation including campaign launches and roll out plans, campaign management, budget management, bid management, A/B testing and reporting.
We are looking for a paid media professional with a consistent track record that can help us drive mobile app downloads and applications for job seekers and clients looking to fill open positions.
You understand how to build coordinated and comprehensive marketing strategies sought at both attracting prospective job seekers (B2C) and clients (B2B).
We'll trust you to use data insights to evolve our strategy and increase the impact of our messaging for our business. Additionally, the Paid Media Specialist should feel comfortable taking charge in client meetings when discussing paid media initiatives.
Duties Responsibilities
- Drive strategy, build, manage, and optimize sizable paid media campaigns across multiple channels, including but not limited to search, API driven campaigns, digital out-of-home, video, and social
- Drive customer acquisition and activation efforts – app downloads, job seeker applies
- Proactively identify opportunities for optimization, insight and expansion, and see through to implementation
- Build measurement frameworks for campaigns with clear, concise goals metrics to optimize results
- Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights for client reporting to inform strategy
- Briefs digital marketing assets, routes for approval to appropriate stakeholders, sets up proper tracking and ensures coordination to campaign development teams, both vendors & internal
- Provide internal client deliverables including paid media plans, POVs, competitive analyses, and strategic insight
- Perform ongoing A/B split testing, keyword mining, etc. to improve campaign performance and identify areas of growth
- Develop marketing strategies according to company's long term development goals
- Collaborate with internal partners to translate line of business needs to campaigns and to develop always-on pipeline campaigns
- Assist with new business initiatives through the development of initial strategies, industry research, and overall scope production
- Oversee weekly trend reporting, pacing and analysis of KPIs from campaigns to create clear, actionable insights for internal stakeholders
- Provide media budget estimates/recommendations where applicable
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends to maintain best practices and educate others
Knowledge, SkillsAbilities
- 3-5 years of experience in hands-on paid media marketing in digital marketing, campaign development and execution in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Campaign setup and expertise in paid media administration including Google, Google Shopping, Facebook, App Store Campaigns, and other paid media buying planning tools.
- Google Ads and Analytics Certifications (Preferred)
- Experience with client communication required
- B2C experience required; having both B2C and B2B experience preferred
- Be a positive collaborator with a bias for action.
- Ability to easily synthesize and communicate performance trends
- Great communication and project management skills, with ability to consistently plan for and meet deadlines.
- Proficient with A/B testing of campaign strategies, ads, and landing pages
- Able to work in a matrix (multi-supervisory) environment; manage one's time; able to take initial direction, then transition to a more independent work style
- Ability to apply creative thinking and imagination to campaign development, planning and execution with focus on the target audience
- Strong marketing project management skills are essential
- Advanced experience with running campaigns in tools like: Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube), DSPs (DV360 – a plus), Campaign Manager 360 (a plus), SA360 (a plus) Bing Ads, and Facebook Ads Manager. Other social channels a plus. Intermediate level understanding of Excel functions
