  • Department Description: Salesforce is embarking on our own Digital Transformation to deliver customer success for our customers and accelerate our growth. A key target of this transformation is our paid media intelligence and campaign measurement. We’re looking for someone to define and lead our paid media analytics practice.
  • Role Description: This individual will bring deep expertise in paid media reporting and measurement. The director will be tasked with defining an omnichannel measurement framework to transform how we measure the success of advertising channels and campaigns. Success in this role requires a background in both brand and performance media, as well as, expertise in how to measure media impact across the complex digital advertising ecosystem. This role will oversee agency partners and engineering teams in the production of a reporting suite for not only executive audiences but also performance and pacing reports for our activation teams. The individual will also need to lead teams to develop actionable insights and be comfortable presenting recommendations to key stakeholders. This is a highly visible role to define how we use data and analytics to measure the impact of our paid media investments.
  • Your Impact:
  • Set the vision, strategy and roadmap to deliver Omnichannel paid media measurement at Salesforce
  • Deliver thought leadership by outlining new ways to enhance, develop or execute campaign insights and optimizations through data and analytics (new partners, new technologies, innovative use of existing solutions)
  • Develop best in class B2B data-driven solutions, in partnership with Media Planning and Activation teams
  • Drive how Salesforce measures advertising effectiveness and efficiency across our product and audience strategies
  • Design and manage the production of cross-channel dashboards for executive reporting, campaign performance and pacing tools for our media teams
  • Share POVs regarding industry changes in the data and analytics space (future of measurement, new data solutions like clean rooms, attention measurement, etc..)
  • Provide support, coaching, training and advice to analytics resources
  • Own the agency relationships for paid media measurement and analytics
  • Keep in front of industry trends and future proof our by conducting research, engaging in training and attending industry events
  • Required Skills
  • Industry Knowledge in marketing analytics and data (1st and 3rd party data solutions, data lakes, data clean rooms, aggregated and user level data)
  • Experience in integrated marketing related to media and/or customer journey development, including budgeting, revenue forecasting, ROI development.
  • Expertise in audience-based marketing and data-driven advertising
  • Experience in leveraging MMM and MTA outputs to optimize media
  • Solution development: analytic skills, critical thinking and clarifying strategic & operational issues as relates to data and analytics. Problem-solving skills to drive issues to resolution.
  • Proven leadership ability and strong, impactful client relationship experience
  • Passionate about driving change by adopting emerging technologies in the advertising space
  • 10 years+ of data and analytics experience in advertising, management consulting, marketing or digital consulting (media agency experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of agency-side media campaign planning and execution process
  • Highly proficient in Tableau, Datorama and Google Marketing Platforms
  • Stellar communication and presentation skills: we need someone who is articulate, engaging and straightforward – and, above all, can effectively and convincingly translate unstructured business solutions into innovative customer marketing programs
  • Ability to train and coach colleagues for growth: being organized and detail oriented, prioritizing work, business writing & presenting, conducting analysis, and project management (scope, budgeting, timing)
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous situations
