"The Paid Media Manager, Cox Business serves as a key contributor within the Media Center of Excellence team at Cox. This individual will support the Senior Manager by assisting in digital media strategy, budgeting, planning, execution, and optimization marketing Cox's Business-to-Business operations digitally. The individual will serve as the main conduit between Cox's media buying agency of record as well as Cox's individual media partners managing a performance focused digital media plan with detailed KPIs defining results. Cox Business has aggressive revenue and sales goals and is increasing their focus on digital as a critical medium to drive awareness, intent, and sales to prospective businesses as well as to its current customer base.
What You'll Do
- Supports the Senior Manager with media responsibilities:
- Help to manage media as a full funnel channel, increasing share of results attributed to various media channels via last touch, multi touch, and media mix modeling methodologies.
- Responsible for adhering to OPEX budget and achieving/exceeding sales targets.
- Influence the development and execution of Cox's customer segmentation strategy for digital media (especially in relation to current customers), and increase targeting capabilities within media landscape.
- Help to develop digital media plans that clearly outline budget allocation, channel utilization, selected markets, target audiences, and other ad variables.
- Champion continuous advancement of digital innovations including features, capabilities, targeting, and personalization.
- Help translate Cox marketing challenges into thorough media strategies in conjunction with maintaining annual plans and budgets.
Owns:
- Make strategy recommendations and develops processes and standards to ensure smooth daily operations and execution of various digital media channels focused on marketing Cox Business.
- Define and oversees the execution a desktop, mobile web, and mobile app strategy for social, discovery and display.
- Communication with advertising platform vendors for social, discovery and display.
- Develop media plans that clearly outline budget allocation, channel utilization, selected markets, target audiences, and other ad variables for social, discovery and display.
- Ability to craft a story showcasing media learnings and trends to disseminate across boundary partners via PowerPoint, Excel, or email.
- Manage and record media roadmaps that includes upcoming launches, testing plans, optimizations, and strategy shifts.
- Work with Analytics team to translate analyses into key findings and produces insightful data-driven recommendations.
Partners with other internal teams to:
- Ensure linkage between media messaging and is established, with all media creatives being organically and readily visible on
- Identify goals and standards for media campaigns; ensures media campaigns meet varying goals by customer segment.
- Communicate and present media insights and meaningful trends to help Cox improve/optimize holistic Cox Business Marketing strategy.

Who You Are
Minimum
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field (media, marketing, or marketing in competitive industry). The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field
- Agency and external vendor management
- Understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem-a strong familiarity with digital advertising platforms and base knowledge of DSPs, SSPs, and ad exchanges is required
- Track record of driving increased results performance
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal skills; Presentation skills necessary to communicate and persuade a wide range of audiences
- Ability to respond with agility to changing market conditions and expedite processes when required
- Ability to proactively identify and remedy issues
- Ability to work productively in a virtual environment within direct supervision
- Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines. Execute high-quality work under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail.

- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred
- BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired (i.e. Marketing, Business, etc.)
- Experience in telecommunications industry desired
- Media Agency experience
