Director, Paid Media

Push the boundaries of tech. In your sweatpants.

We’re looking for an experienced Director of Paid Media to help us change the way the world works. Here, you’ll be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of our paid media strategy and execution.

This global role will work closely with media agencies, internal teams, and business stakeholders to optimize media spend and drive revenue from the portfolio of Alludo brands. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of paid media strategies, media planning, and analytics, with a focus on maximizing ROI. You will be driving awareness, customer acquisition and retention for Alludo brands through paid channels.

The top creative and technical minds could work anywhere. So why are so many of them choosing Alludo? Here are three reasons:

  • This is the moment. It’s an exciting time at Alludo, with new leadership, a refreshed brand (you probably know us as Corel), and a whole new approach to changing the way the world works. We’re at the forefront of a movement, and we want you to ride this wave with us.
  • We want you to be you. Too often, companies tell you about their culture and then expect you to fit it. Our culture is built from the people who work here. We want you to feel safe to be who you are, take risks, and show us what you’ve got.
  • It’s your world. We know you have a life. We want to be part of it, but not all of it. At Alludo, we’re serious about empowering people to work when, how, and where they want. Couch? Sweatpants? Cool with us. We believe that happy employees mean happy customers. That’s why we hire amazing people and get out of their way.

Sound good so far? Awesome. Let’s talk more about the role and see if we’re destined to be together.

As a Director of Paid Media, you will:

  • Develop and lead the overall paid media strategy to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth for Alludo’s portfolio of brands.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, ecommerce, and product, to align paid media strategies with business objectives and goals.
  • Oversee media planning and buying across various channels including digital, social, search, display, and traditional media.
  • Manage relationships with media agencies and vendors to negotiate and secure advantageous agreements.
  • Develop and manage the paid media budget($30M+), ensuring optimal allocation of resources across different channels and campaigns.
  • Monitor spend and performance, making real-time adjustments to optimize ROI.
  • Leverage analytics and data-driven insights to monitor and analyze campaign performance and effectiveness.
  • Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to present performance metrics and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Lead and manage the paid media team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment

What YOU Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in paid media, media planning, and buying, with a proven track record of success managing double-digit millions of dollars
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms, advertising technologies, and media analytics.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in developing and leading high-performing teams.
  • Proficient in media analytics tools and platforms, such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, etc.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience leading paid media strategy for ecommerce brands.
  • Experience leveraging paid media to market to niche audiences such as developers & designers.

(FYI, we’re lucky to have a lot of interest and we so appreciate your application, though please note that we’ll only contact you if you’ve been selected for an interview.)
