As a Paid Search Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, analysis, optimizations, and operations of Petco’s Paid Search channel across multiple lines of business.
The individual in this role must have a strong focus on project management, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate to several external & internal partners.
Responsibilities:
• Build, launch, and continuously monitor / optimize Google, Bing, and other Paid Search ad campaigns.
• Evaluate, pursue & measure digital marketing initiatives & opportunities based on company’s needs.
• Strong ability to pull data / reports and present in an easy-to-digest fashion for senior leadership.
• Effectively synthesize performance results to optimize campaigns in real-time and provide recommendations on future initiatives based on overall learnings.
• Conduct keyword & product category research and provide relevant recommendations to support current business needs and challenges.
• Concept and spearhead testing strategies & pursue the latest digital opportunities to keep the program competitive in the marketplace.
• Identify and translate relevant consumer data into audience segments to further improve current customer targeting and segmentation in live campaigns.
• Manage and execute activities in support of promo / discount / seasonal periods in a timely manner.
• Accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes and in accordance with business priorities.
Requirements:
• Four-year degree in Marketing, Advertising or Business. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for a degree.
• 2+ years of experience in a Paid Search marketing role, either agency or client-side
• Prior experience managing cross-channel programs in the Retail / eCommerce space preferred.
• Strong understanding of marketing attribution & alternative measurement methodologies.
• Ability to analyze channel data and translate into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Hands on experience working with and directly managing creative agencies is a plus.
• Experience working with Analytics tools such as, Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics.
• Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Self-starter and self-motivated with a passion and curiosity for digital media.
