The Paid Media Manager will develop and execute media plans and strategies across all channels, including digital, print, and broadcast. This role will manage relationships with external media agencies and vendors, negotiating rates, placements, and other terms as needed. The Paid Media Manager will analyze media effectiveness using metrics and data to continuously optimize campaigns and ensure ROI. Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, marketing, and public relations, to develop and integrate messaging across all campaigns. Keep up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to provide strategic recommendations for the organization's media campaigns. Manage budgets and ensure all campaigns are delivered on time and within budget. Monitor and report on media coverage and share insights and recommendations with internal stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute media plans and strategies across all channels, including digital, print, broadcast, and social media. Manage relationships with external media agencies and vendors, negotiating rates, placements, and other terms as needed.
- Analyze media effectiveness using metrics and data to continuously optimize campaigns and ensure ROI.
- Collaborate and communicate to enable strong and efficient progress within the core Marketing team, to leverage partners effectively and to ensure client facing interactions are productive, clear, and efficient.
- Budget responsibility- managing approved spend and input into spend, with approval of Senior Manager.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent experience
- Years of Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Media planning and buying or related field
- Basic computer skills and the ability to use computers and technology for information, and to access information necessary to complete the job
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Adobe creative suite a plus
- Strong understanding of media landscape and trends
- Organizational and time management skills
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Familiarity with multiple media channels including Digital, Print, Social, and Video
- Strong understanding of media landscape and trends
- Excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of media tracking tools, such as Google Analytics and social media analytics
- Creative problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with different team members across the organization
