About The Role
Jackson Spalding is seeking a Paid Media Strategist to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll serve as the media buying expert. Successful candidates will have at least 2 years of experience in media buying and digital marketing client work in an agency setting.
The ideal candidate is strategic, analytical, detail-oriented, collaborative and would enjoy an entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities
- Lead negotiation and buying efforts for all media (broadcast, digital, print, social, out of home).
- Develop relationships with media partners and manage rate negotiations.
- Work with internal and client teams to develop strategic media recommendations based on campaign objectives.
- Manage digital programs including, but not limited too: display ad trafficking, tracking, optimizations, reconciliations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients while developing and presenting media plans to meet KPIs and conversion goals.
- Provide thorough reporting and recommendations based on data.
- Communicate recommendations to clients and collaborate with internal team.
- Manage client facing deliverables in a timley manner.
- Participate in strategy development and annual planning for integrated marketing communications tactics.
- Identify meaningful data events, and trends for further analysis.
- Contribute to measurement and analytics, making optimization recommendations.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree (Journalism, Communications or Marketing a plus)
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in media buying and digital marketing client work in an agency setting
- Experience managing and launching digital/paid media campaigns and strategy development
- Client partnership/management experience
- Strong project management
- Media planning experience
- Detail oriented and able to manage multiple projects
- Resourceful, self starter mentality
- Written and oral communication skills
