"At SBLI Life Insurance, we are looking for a dynamic Director, Paid Media & Marketing Partnerships to join our Marketing team. The Director will be instrumental in driving lead generation and brand awareness for our direct-to-consumer channel. This critical role will help us maximize our marketing efforts across platforms and best reach our future policyholders. SBLI is a mutual, customer-centric provider of life insurance solutions. Responsibilities
- Develop, oversee, and implement comprehensive paid media strategies across platforms such as Google, Bing, Meta, YouTube, programmatic channels, and CTV.
- Lead the evaluation and optimization of campaign performance, including full ownership of the quality, costs, and ROI associated with life insurance leads.
- Determine platform target audiences and collaborate with marketing team to optimize ad strategy and content by channel.
- Spearhead collaboration with internal teams and external agencies to execute cohesive, brand-aligned campaigns. This includes nurturing prospects through SMS, email, and remarketing channels.
- Build, manage, and optimize relationships with agencies and media partners, including negotiating contracts and overseeing performance.
- Prepare and present in-depth performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Establish a close working relationship with the consumer life insurance sales team to ensure marketing strategies align with sales objectives.
- Direct and manage brand media campaigns designed to increase awareness and consideration for the SBLI brand, including oversight of sponsorship activations.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of digital marketing experience, specifically in paid media, partnerships, and brand campaigns.
- Direct-to-consumer insurance industry experience preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in marketing analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Track record in products or services with multi-channel conversion paths (digital, phone, and/or app).
- Proficiency in Google Analytics and marketing automation platforms.
- Experience in traditional direct response media like direct mail a plus.
