MISSION
The mission of the Paid Media Buyer is to contribute to the overall profitability of Full Focus by successfully creating, growing, and optimizing the smoothest, simplest, and highest-converting advertising funnels you’ve ever seen.
The Paid Media Buyer will advance the message and mission of Full Focus by creating, analyzing, and optimizing world-class ad campaigns for the Full Focus Planner that attract new customers and retarget current customers to keep coming back repeatedly.
We are moving from working with a marketing agency to bringing someone in-house, but you don't have to live in the Nashville area as this role does not require you to be local! We need an absolute A-Player-strategic, highly data-driven, and who isn't afraid to take initiative.
If you come from an agency background, the singular focus on “one client” and “one funnel” instead of chasing dozens of clients around and being beholden to their whims will make you fall in love with this role.
If you’ve been running your own business, but you’re tired of doing everything yourself and working alone, and you crave joining a healthy team on an exciting mission, you’ll love this role.
If you’ve been working inside a company and want to be part of a healthy team with a great culture that feels like a family, has competent and supportive leadership, and a place you can really settle down long-term, you’ll love this role.
However, if you prefer highly defined day-to-day duties, don’t really enjoy figuring things out, and trying new processes seems intimidating, you won’t do well in this role.
We are not micromanagers at Full Focus. We don’t care about how things have always been done, how you’ve always done things, or what anyone’s SOP is. What we care about is: 1) you love what you do every day and wake up excited to do it, and 2) our company’s success.
We are committed to measuring both on a regular basis.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our Leadership and Marketing teams.
Your goal in this role is to grow our new customer base while maintaining an acceptable CAC. Specifically, in the first six months as the Paid Media Buyer, you aim to accomplish these two main objectives:
- You have successfully increased our new customer base via ads from 1,200 to 4,000+ a month
- You have been able to maintain a CAC of $20, contributing to the overall profitability of the company
This is achieved through three primary main areas of focus, including but not limited to:
- Creative – You love strategizing, creating, and implementing new ad campaigns. You’re constantly seeking the best angle to captivate new audiences and drive overall sales. You are highly collaborative and enjoy working alongside the Marketing team to accomplish our goals
- Funnel Optimization – You love keeping close track of how the funnel works overall and focus your efforts on moving the 1-2 numbers that need your attention that week. You’re comfortable digging into the data and drawing conclusions on what needs to be adjusted to improve performance
- Ad Buying – You wrangle audiences and Ad Manager to hit CPM and CPC targets
In your role as Paid Media Buyer, the primary number that you own on the team is profit from your funnel (units sold + CAC).
You will also be responsible for reporting on a handful of KPIs, including, but not limited to, the number of new customers per month via digital ad campaigns, CPM, CPL, and ROAS.
See scorecard for additional information.
