Wells Fargo is seeking a Data Science Senior Manager for Paid Channels Marketing Science within Consumer Data and Enablement (CDEP). This Senior Manager will be leading a team who drive analytics and insights regarding paid and owned media. Develop insights and recommendations across Paid channels. Partner with Product teams to standardize cross channel tagging and taxonomy, Identify tests & learn recommendations. Deploy and manage tests at scale. Provide thought leadership and support for ongoing evaluations of partnerships, methodologies, tools, and platforms.

In This Role, You Will

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute primary and secondary market research projects or results oriented intelligence that support each of the different lines of business within a major Wells Fargo business division
  • Engage and influence most experienced leaders companywide to communicate and provide strategic consultation
  • Manage and develop team managers and lead multiple teams to deliver best in class finance practices to enhance business management, executing on key initiatives, and processes across products and lines of business
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for alternatives, approaches, or solutions through the use of robust financial, economic model, and complex non-models related to complex financial products, pricing strategy, regulatory standards, and other financial performance metrics and financial forecasting
  • Provide support for designing, testing, evaluating, implementing, measuring, monitoring, and managing finance models and strategies across acquisitions, account management, and collections
  • Interpret and develop compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives for external agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry forums
  • Collaborate with and influence lines of business, business partners, Operating Committee, Chief Marketing Officer, external agencies, regulatory bodies, industry forums managers, experienced consultants, and executive management on issues with high, critical impact on the success of the company
  • Lead a team of managers, consultants, or cross functional virtual teams in accomplishing goals
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Analytics
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of data science experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management experience
  • Master's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, or computer science

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with an ad agency, understanding of media buying, media strategy, advertising and marketing technology.
  • Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), Data Clean Room, and Identity Graphs
  • Experience working with data and analytics with paid media
  • Experience working with data strategy and tagging strategy
  • Experience partnering with critical and large media partners/platforms
  • Experience with Tag Management Systems
  • Experience with unified analytics platforms like Neustar
  • Experience with SQL or SAS experience
  • Expert level of Tableau experience
  • Expert level experience connecting data from various sources such as DCM (Digital Campaign Manager) and web analytics platforms (Google Analytics/Adobe Analytics)
  • Expert level knowledge on utilizing testing and optimization platforms, such as Adobe Target
  • Direct experience managing team of data consultant/analysts
  • Experience managing in a virtually, including leading on and off-shore employees
  • Ability to work with large databases and process flow through complex logic or merging algorithm.
  • Financial service industry experience
  • Experience successfully developing actionable data analytics and data strategies to inform, influence, and drive business outcomes
  • Articulate and possess strong data analytic experience and have strong interpersonal effectiveness with the ability to translate complex analytics in to easily understood insights and summarizing or presenting to various levels of management.
  • Experience providing "credible challenge" to business partners, when necessary, with the ability to lead through influence in a matrix environment
  • Experience leading a fast paced, demanding, and deadline driven environment
  • Ability to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 20%

Pay Range:

  • New York City, New York - Pay Range: $138,500 - $287,600 annually
  • Salary range is determined by location of the job.

Pay Range

$126,400.00 - $262,600.00 Annual
