We are looking for an experienced marketing professional to lead the Account Success and functional Marketing teams, reporting to the head of paid media. Role & Responsibilities:
The Director, Paid Media will manage the Paid Media Service and Organization. The main responsibilities include the following:
- Oversee the full adoption and implementation of media organization, with focus on strategic clients
- Actively participate in new business pitch work, and Business Development in creating
- Help drive more effective media operations integration and best practices with Media teams to ensure 100% error-free activation
- Hands on Paid Search management and experience
This role requires deep digital subject matter expertise, team leadership experience and strong operational skills. Executive-level client management and presentation skills are a critical competency in this role. This position reports to the COO.
Additional Responsibilities
- Oversee media delivery and ensure a best in class work product supporting our paid search and paid social value proposition.
- Standardize briefing, planning & optimization processes
- Apply media operations best practices playbook across all media accounts, ensuring compliance and error-free media activation.
- Support team in recruiting, hiring, and career-pathing of next-generation media leaders.
- Act as a paid media SME in new pitches and for current clients
- Contribute to product and capability development, as well as overall value proposition and acquisition strategy.
Skills & Qualifications:
- You have a Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 5-7 years of paid search and paid social media experience within Facebook Ads Manager, working on multiple accounts/campaigns at the same time
- You have 3-5 years of minimum experience at different eCommerce or digitally native brands, at a digital marketing agency, or in a social media marketing and/or brand partnerships role
- Experience working with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, etc. and understanding their analytics/insights
- You have knowledge of online and offline marketing, managing and building community and an active following, creative best practices, and have the ability to be creative
- You have good Client services skills and the ability to present your thoughts and presentations effectively
- Passion for smart and engaging storytelling, social listening, and creating meaningful or empowering experiences for a diverse audience
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and media-savvy
- Not required but a plus: experience in PR, digital marketing, offline marketing, sweepstakes management, brand partnerships, or similar fields
- You are willing to learn, and excited to be apart of an fast-moving, digitally native team
- You are able to work in a fast-paced, exciting environment and across external and internal teams to deliver top results to Clients. You are a team player, smart, adapt well with change and have a positive attitude
