Summary / Role Purpose
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Marketing Specialist Paid Media to join our global marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing Ansys global performance marketing initiatives, with a focus on our global paid search strategy and bidding platforms. This role will serve as a point of contact for our media agency. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in paid media optimization, extensive experience running global performance marketing campaigns, and a focus on B2B marketing. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in driving our paid media initiatives and achieving business growth and success in a global context.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with the Senior Manager, Paid Media to develop and implement a comprehensive global performance marketing strategy across North America, EMEA & APAC, encompassing paid search and bidding platforms, to drive measurable results and achieve business objectives aligned with our overall marketing strategy.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and scalability in paid search operations, driving efficiencies and streamlining workflows.
- Lead the execution, optimization, and management of global paid search and performance marketing campaigns, including keyword research, campaign setup, bid management, ad copy creation, performance tracking, and bidding platform optimization to maximize ROI and achieve campaign goals.
- Conduct in-depth data & competitive analysis, audience segmentation and advanced measurement techniques to evaluate campaign performance, identify optimization opportunities, achieve KPIs and provide actionable insights.
- Leverage paid search, paid social & programmatic platforms to develop and execute targeted campaigns, driving engagement and conversions in the B2B space.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including content, design, industry, product, etc.) to align performance marketing initiatives with overall marketing objectives and ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
- Serve as a point of contact for our media agency, providing guidance, campaign briefs, and performance feedback for paid search initiatives.
- Develop reports and presentations to effectively communicate campaign performance, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in measurement tools, ad platforms, and advertising technologies to leverage new opportunities and improve campaign effectiveness.
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in global paid search optimization and management, preferably in a B2B marketing environment.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with popular bidding platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads) and paid social platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads). In addition, experience with global paid search platforms like Naver, Yahoo Japan & Baidu preferred.
Experience with multiple paid media types, such as display advertising, social media advertising, or programmatic advertising.
Demonstrated success in running global paid search campaigns and managing large budgets effectively.
Experience managing campaigns across multiple languages and locations (NAM, EMEA, APAC).
Proficiency in utilizing analytics and tracking tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager) to measure and analyze campaign performance.
Experience collaborating with media agencies and managing agency relationships.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and strategies to stakeholders.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Sense of urgency.
Collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Agency background strongly preferred.
5-8 years of relevant experience.
Experience in global B2B technology marketing with understanding of current technology market trends.
Experience with advertising through popular regional or global apps (WeChat, KakaoTalk, Douyin, Weibo).
Google Ads certification or other relevant certifications in paid search advertising.
Familiarity with B2B marketing strategies, lead generation, and marketing automation platforms.
Experience running channel marketing or Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs for paid media, or experience involving targeting and engaging specific audience segments and optimizing campaigns accordingly.
