JOB SUMMARY
This position creates and manages paid media initiatives based on business objectives and goals. This position requires an individual who is curious, courageous and confident. This role works in a fast-paced environment with many ongoing projects and tasks. This position is expected to think strategically and critically with a strong understanding of the big picture, while also being able to zero in on and handle the details. This role must understand that paid media is a science + art; and that there needs to be fluidity in the use of data, science, and math, but also creativity with a comfort level of living in discomfort, the grey, and an ever-evolving space. This position leads the thought leadership of paid media strategies.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads the development and execution of strategic paid media efforts to advance, acquisition, retention, and engagement objectives for business-to-business audiences, business-to-consumer audiences, providers, products and services. Oversees entire workflow of paid media including research and insights, briefing, planning, implementation and traffic, buy verification, reporting, optimizing, testing, billing, etc. (20%)
- Leverages evergreen paid media principles as well as programmatic automation and media/marketing technology to advance targeting capabilities, cost efficiencies and business results; have a deep grasp of the use and measurability of traditional, digital and emerging paid media channels and tactics such as, but not limited to: linear TV, terrestrial radio, print/direct mail, out-of-home/place-based advertising, connected TV/OTT, digital audio, display, social and SEM. (20%)
- Gathers, utilizes and analyzes research and data to decide on how to iterate, test and optimize paid media functionality. (10%)
- Leads collaboration with internal team members (marketing strategy, creative strategy and services, analytics, insights, etc.) and external team members (agencies, platforms, vendors) to yield strategic and effective paid media programs. (10%)
- Contributes to paid media thought leadership and expertise when in communication with stakeholders on key initiatives. Provides strategic narrative and strong point of views to paid media activity. (10%)
- Creates strong working relationship with counterparts within immediate day-to-day team. Stays connected to other Lead Media Strategists and finds synergistic paid media strategies across all lines of business. (10%)
- Creates and presents materials to educate internal team members and leadership on paid media theory, strategies, channel specifics and new offerings. (10%)
- Helps improve work efficiencies by upholding and enhancing daily processes and procedures and the use of internal and external tools and platforms. (10%)
- Other duties as assigned or requested.
EXPERIENCE
Required
- 7 years of Relatedprogressive experience in the area of specialization including experience in leading projects of varying size and complexity.

Pay Range Minimum:
$67,500.00
Pay Range Maximum:
$124,800.00
Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate's qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations. The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
