About the role: Publishing.com is seeking an experienced, knowledgeable video producer who understands the ins and outs of direct response marketing and paid advertising.

Main priorities include the production of large amounts of video content, editing, and art direction for assets used across several platforms.

This person should be proactive, innovative, and passionate about the company's product offerings. Join our team and help us create exceptional video ads and organic video content on social media.

About the Team: The marketing team consists of 7 core members and growing. Our current team mostly works on ad production, paid advertising placement, and funnel optimization.

We are looking to expand into other marketing strategies, such as blogging, SEO, and social media. You will work closely with our media buyers, director of digital marketing, and our CEO to produce the best ads and content in the industry.

What you'll work on: As a Video Production Specialist at Publishing.com, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand through compelling visual storytelling.

Your creativity and technical expertise will contribute to the success of our marketing efforts across various platforms.

You will collaborate closely with our marketing team to produce engaging video content that captivates our target audience and drives results.

Here are some key responsibilities:

Video Content Creation: Produce high-quality video content for advertisements, social media, and other marketing channels as well as VSL content, showcasing our products and educational offerings.

Collaborate with content creators, copywriters, and media buyers to ensure alignment with marketing strategies.

Editing and Post-Production: Apply your mastery of video editing techniques to enhance raw footage, add motion graphics, animations, and special effects, resulting in polished and impactful visual content.

Collaborative Ideation: Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative video ideas that resonate with our audience and convey key messages effectively.

Production Management: Coordinate and oversee video shoots, both remotely and during in-person filming sessions in Austin, Texas and other locations.

Ensure smooth production processes, manage equipment, and direct talent when necessary.

Quality Control: Maintain a keen eye for detail, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and high quality of all video content before publication.

Stay Current: Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging video technologies, and creative techniques to bring fresh and effective approaches to our video marketing initiatives.

Requirements for this role:

Exceptional Writing and Editing Skills: Proven ability to craft engaging and compelling content for blog articles and social media posts.

Strong command of grammar, punctuation, and language conventions. Ability to adapt writing style to match brand guidelines and target audience.

Project Management and Time Management: Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high-quality output.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to effectively plan and execute content strategies. Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.

Creative Thinking and Storytelling: A creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas and storytelling approaches.

Skill in crafting narratives that resonate with the target audience and evoke emotional responses and prompt action through effective direct response copywriting.

Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in digital content creation and storytelling.

Digital Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with SEO principles and practices to optimize content for search engines.

Understanding of social media platforms, trends, and strategies to effectively engage and grow audiences. Basic knowledge of content analytics tools to measure and interpret content performance.

Collaboration and Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, incorporating feedback and input.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas, present concepts, and convey messages effectively.
