Job description:
What You’ll Do
- Build strategic and audience media capabilities that generate consideration of Discover for prospects. Develop communication strategies that drive the brand and help Discover be known for all its offerings, drive audience planning, enabled by a deep understanding of AdTech, data management, and measurement.
- Works cross-functionally with internal teams, agency partners, external vendors and key stakeholders across the business. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.
How You’ll Do It
- Serve as the thought leader on paid media innovation, providing strategic direction/support at all stages of the Discover marketing and media process.
- Lead and run the development of paid media plans and guide the buildout of campaigns and audiences; develop testing agendas tied to clear, measurable KPIs.
- Provide ongoing education on industry trends, platform changes, and creative opportunities to reach and convert prospects, collaborating with agency partners.
- Continually evaluate vendors, platforms and processes to drive optimization and efficiencies.
- Establish relationships with new media platforms and stay connected to all the developments and changes happening on each platform that impact media/performance.
Qualifications You’ll Need
The Basics
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business
- 8+ years’ experience in Marketing, Business, Communications, or Technology, or related within paid media
- In lieu of Education: 10+ years’ experience in Marketing, Business, Communications, or Technology, or related within paid media
Preferred qualifications
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business
- 2+ years People Management experience
Compensation: The base pay for this position generally ranges between $100,500.00 to $170,100.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
