Description

The primary purpose of this position is to assist in the administration of BayPort's digital and online marketing channels. This is accomplished by the production of various marketing promotions and campaigns. Other duties include developing and managing paid search and social media advertising. This position works closely with the Marketing Data Analyst, as well as the marketing department to ensure digital marketing assets and related collateral comply with brand standards.

Responsibilities Include

  • Assists the administrators of BayPort's digital marketing and online channels from tactical planning through execution.
  • Responsible for the production of email marketing design, layout, content, lists, and KPIs to ensure that all campaigns are accurate and effective.
  • Assists in developing and managing paid search and social media advertising.
  • Contributes to utilize data to improve member experience, and lead and revenue generation across designed marketing assets, including emails and digital advertising.
  • Ensure all digital marketing assets and related collateral comply with brand standards.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and knowledge with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, SEO, SEM, and basic HTML.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel including importing or exporting data, creating pivot tables, and using some of the more complex functions.
  • Comfortable using the Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications Education

Required

Bachelors or better in Marketing or related field.

Experience

Required

  • Capability of working within a team, with other Credit Union departments, and external service providers.
  • Ability to work independently, using personal judgment and problem-solving techniques to complete tasks in a timely fashion.
  • Excellent organizational skills; strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional communication skills:
    • Written communication skills; including spelling, and grammar accuracy.
    • Oral communication skills; communicate clearly in all situations, and conduct business over the telephone.
  • Ability to maintain current knowledge of the credit union's changes, processes, and procedures.
  • Maintains the Credit Union's professional reputation, both internally and externally.
  • Maintains appropriate levels of confidentiality.
  • Understands the BayPort brand and the Credit Union's short and long-range messaging to ensure brand consistency.
