Job Description

The Paid Media Specialist is responsible for developing targeting and budgeting recommendations, launching campaigns on various search and social platforms, optimizing ads based on KPIs, reporting on campaign metrics, and providing actionable feedback to internal teams for improving performance. This role will be part of the newly formed Center Of Excellence (COE) group which will help our clients reach targeted candidates outside of typical programmatic solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Utilize Planner tools to complete budget research and conduct keyword targeting.
  • Analyze and present daily, weekly, and monthly campaign analyses with a high level of quality assurance and use of optimization best practices.
  • Conduct extensive audience, placement, and platform research to help inform Paid strategies for Appcast clients.
  • Manage the measurement and optimization of client KPIs and produce reports to share results with clients.
  • Provide strategic direction to clients on specific initiatives, identifying key messages or value proposition and the best means to communicate or demonstrate this.
  • Create and present monthly and/or quarterly reports with analysis of campaign performance along with strategic recommendations for continual improvement.
  • Forecast performance and spend for future budget recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and other data manipulation tools
  • Strong ad copy writing skills with experience in A/B ad testing
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Results-driven, organized, articulate, and a self-starter
  • Positive attitude and the ability to create and maintain professional relationships with coworkers and clients

Education and Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in a Digital Marketing or Agency environment.
  • Certification on Google Ads (Search), Facebook/Meta, Bing, or LinkedIn.

Work Location and Schedule

  • This is a hybrid position with work completed in one of our office locations and a remote home office.
  • Typical schedules will be three days working in the office location and the remainder of week from home, however, may vary based on business or work/life balance needs.
