The Role

We are looking for a Data Integration Manager to join our fast-growing Data Enablement team here at Wpromote. In this role, you'll design and maintain a strong data foundation for an enterprise client so we can unlock deeper insight from their marketing data and drive stronger media performance. You'll play a consultative client-facing role, gathering data requirements from your client and Wpromote account stakeholders. From here, you'll design and orchestrate data solutions, collaborating closely with Data Enablement service teams to bring your projects through to completion. You'll also be embedded with a team of Data and Analytics Strategists and Data Analysts to gather, integrate, and prepare data for Wpromote's most advanced analytics and modeling projects. You Will Be

  • Gathering data requirements from your client and internal team stakeholders to deliver data taxonomy, data capture, analytics configuration, data pipeline, and data visualization solutions
  • Project managing data enablement projects across so media teams can flexibly and efficiently deploy data for new reporting dashboards and apps within client's tech platform
  • Educating, training, and leading the build-out of client's data taxonomy
  • Project managing and coordinating tagging implementation for the client and account team across analytics, ad platforms, and portions of data from client CRMs
  • Collaborating with the Analytics Management team to design the optimal solutions for measuring the data points outlined in the customer journey within analytics
  • Partnering with Analytics Management to figure out the best way to configure dimensions, segments, and tracking codes in the client's taxonomy
  • Gathering data sources and requirements from stakeholders (clients and internal teams) to deliver data visualization that supports value articulation of paid media, earned media, and other agency services
  • Working with analytics engineers, analytics managers, product, and media strategists to design, implement, and leverage data taxonomy and automation to inform media strategy & planning
  • Working with large data sets to properly clean, ingest, and report upon
  • Working in a fast paced, highly competitive industry helping a growth oriented client gain market share as one of the premier providers in the space
  • Aligning with Paid Media to ensure data flow and signal resilience with new media partners
  • Interacting with client MarTech teams to collaborate on reporting methodologies and implementation in partnership, and with the guidance of the Data & Analytics Strategy team
  • Diving deep into Google Analytics, Datorama, and/or Looker to troubleshoot integrity of data
  • Auditing existing data sets to check for anomalies and irregularities
  • Acting as the external partner lead for partners such as Amazon, Roku, and AppsFlyer to ensure data received meets quality standards

You Must Have

  • 2 years of hands-on experience working inside of a digital media and marketing environment
  • 2 years experience working with media data
  • 2 years of working with clients and reporting measurement insights to marketing stakeholders within an organization
  • A functional understanding of marketing and advertising technology platforms including advertising (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.), analytics (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.), and data aggregation, manipulation, and visualization (BigQuery, Funnel, Google Data Studio, Tableau, etc.)
  • Ability to collaborate with a data engineer to define requirements for building a data model for digital marketing by defining all the relevant KPIs and data sources, finding the best path for piping all relevant data into a database, and defining business rules for output in visualizations
  • Familiarity with creating and implementing data taxonomy governance best practices across multiple ad platforms
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to understand the technical detail behind data utilization for digital marketing and the ability to explain it simply to non-technical audiences
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to work efficiently across multiple teams, clients, and timelines simultaneously
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Slides

Experience

  • Experience with project management tools such as Asana
  • Foundational understanding of the wider Digital Marketing space, including Paid Search, Paid Social, SEO, Programmatic & general Digital Marketing strategy
  • Experience with passing data from paid media to analytic platforms
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills
  • A solutions oriented mentality and a knack for problem solving
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Nice To Have

  • Previous experience in a client-facing role at a performance marketing agency
  • Basic understanding of Google Tag Manager (Bonus points if you have implemented anything using custom javascript)
  • Understanding of Mobile Measurement Partners such as AppsFlyer or Kochava
  • Experience visualizing data to communicate analysis with stakeholders in Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, or other visualization platforms (Looker)

Salary Range:

$80K -- $100K

Minimum Qualification

Data Science & Machine Learning, Business Intelligence & Analytics

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
