Job Description

This Job Reports to: Director of Performance Marketing

At Diamond Kinetics, the Manager of Marketing Automation & Paid Media will lead execution and implementation of cross-channel tactics that will drive Awareness, Consideration, Conversion, and User Retention.

The person in this role will work closely with the Director of Performance Marketing to shape the company’s robust omnichannel strategy, and will be responsible for the implementation and optimization of, as well as reporting on, tactics that will shape future digital planning.

This position will be responsible for managing the end-to-end system usage, execution, and adoption of Marketing Automation systems (primarily Email & iOS App Push Notification), as well as the technical implementation of these campaigns. It will also require hands-on digital media buying, optimization, and reporting.

This position will include elements of Project Management particularly as it relates to the collection and organization of content from multiple internal and external sources. This role will work primarily with the Marketing team, but will also work cross-functionally with internal DK Product, Data, and Development Teams, as well as external vendors.

This role emphasizes execution at a tactical level, with opportunities for growth lending strategic support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead Marketing Automation Implementation (60% of Effort):

  • Drive strategy and optimization in all Marketing Automation platforms, namely One Signal and SendGrid, as well as the integrations to fully utilize platform capabilities to align with our ongoing digital marketing and product strategies.
  • Analyze and interpret business requirements and translate them into actionable strategies for utilization and optimization of marketing automation platforms
  • Effectively partner with Performance Marketing, Creative, Product, and Data teams to improve outreach/engagement efforts and to increase leads acquisition, sales conversion rates, and user retention rates
  • Enable the Marketing team to build multi-step communication journeys that include integrated email and push notification outreach as part of a holistic, omni-channel strategies
  • Implement best practices around segmentation, A/B testing, targeting, and personalization of communications to current and potential customers
  • Identify and manage process improvements including, documentation updates, end-user training, management of an annual action plan/roadmap, platform budgeting, etc.
  • Monitor the progress of our marketing automation campaigns through ongoing reporting, including the development of actionable insights and takeaways to implement in future programs

Support Paid Media Buying & Reporting (40% of Effort):

  • Develop, deploy, and optimize paid digital media programs
  • Hands-on media buying across digital channels (Social, OLV, SEM, Display, DSP, Amazon, Influencer, and other channels)
  • Day-to-day campaign monitoring and optimization
  • End-to-End Reporting Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of digital campaigns and provide actionable insights/recommendations for future implementation
  • Grow and maintain a depth of digital marketing expertise for the company.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS degree or higher
  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience
  • Preferred - experience working in direct-to-consumer, eCommerce, mobile apps, and/or membership models
  • Experience with ESP (preferred SendGrid) , including but not limited to:
    • Email Design
    • List Creation & Segmentation Management
    • CDP Integration
    • Automated Drip Campaign Implementation
    • End-to-End Campaign Reporting
  • Background using One Signal Push Notification Platform, including but not limited to:
    • Creating & Sending Push Notifications
    • List Creation & Segmentation Management
    • CDP Integration
    • Automated Drip Campaign Implementation
    • End-to-End Campaign Reporting
  • Familiarity with Segment as a CDP
  • Use Customer/User Data to Drive Automated Campaigns
  • Collaborate with Data Team Build and Transfer Lists
  • Hands-On Knowledge of Media Buying & Reporting on Digital Platforms, including: Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, Google, Amazon, Apple Search Ads, SnapChat
  • Demonstrated success working in fast-paced, collaborative and creative environment with
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage through ambiguity
  • Strong relationship management skills; proven ability to get the most out of partners and
  • vendors while maintaining a solid relationship.
  • Experience in Project Management, particularly as it relates to the collection and organization of content from multiple internal and external sources.
  • Diamond Kinetics provides a flexible work environment – this position may work remotely with requisite travel to the Pittsburgh office at times
  • Ability to work occasional evening and weekend hours.
  • Ability to travel (up to 10%)
