"Organic Social Media Manager
Moontide is looking for an Organic Social Media Manager (freelance) to work with the social team on a global aesthetics brand in partnership with the Paid Media and Influencer Marketing team. The Organic Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with the planning of organic/owned social media content for assigned clients and in turn, supporting the tactical creation of content alongside the cross-discipline team, leading social content posting, and monitoring of that content and the corresponding communities.
As Organic Social Media Coordinator, you will have a keen ability to engage audiences and grow social communities in ways that strategically support earned, owned and paid media and influencer marketing efforts. Most of all, you’re passionate about creating positive change for our clients and for the world.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Plan and execute clients’ organic social media strategies and content calendars across all platforms
- Develop understanding of audience insights and behaviors for assigned communities in order to customize strategies and communications for the audience
- Support editing and optimization of organic social media content based on platform
- Scheduling and live posting of content and community management
- Testing new strategies and new content in cooperation with internal and client teams
- Monitor industry news, social media trends, and community engagement results
- Provide prompt customer service responses on client’s social platforms
- Help administer monthly reporting and analytics to clients and proactively communicate reports and insights to internal team
Social Media Coordinator Qualifications, Education and Experience Requirements:
- Social media content and community management proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools
- Excellent social listening skills within the community
- Strong copywriting and copy editing skills; foundational image and video editing
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years experience with social media marketing or content development as an intern or in an entry level position is preferred
- Direct experience using social media management tools (Sprout Social, CreatorIQ, Julius, UNUM)
