Pearson Clinical Assessments (PCA) has an exciting opportunity for a Social Media Manager to join our Digital Marketing team.

The Social Media Manager is responsible for managing and growing our online social presence, scheduling organic social media posts, engaging with our audiences, and executing paid social media campaigns. The Social Media Manager will work closely with the Marketing Managers to develop strategies to engage with our target audience using organic and paid social media campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule daily organic and paid social media content for PCA’s social media accounts, including Facebook (@PearsonAssessmentsUS), Twitter (@PearsonAssessUS), LinkedIn (@Pearson-assessments-us), YouTube (@PearsonAssessmentsUS), and Instagram (@PearsonAssessmentsUS).
  • Coordinate with Marketing Managers across PCA’s markets (e.g., Healthcare, Education, and Therapeutics, and Pharma) to post inclusive, diverse and compelling social media content that increases brand awareness, demonstrates thought leadership, and engages our wide range of audiences.
  • Serve as an internal platform guide across social channels with the ability to advise teams on audience demographics, targeting capabilities and creative formats.
  • Develop and execute paid social media advertising strategies that drive ROI.
  • Utilize platform analytics to monitor successful social media posts and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Monitor and respond to customer questions and comments, and coordinate with Customer Support and Product Support teams on customer-service related items.
  • Monitor and interact on industry forums and groups
  • Leverage project management system to track projects and workflows.
  • Create and document global social media policies, including best practices, social playbooks, training materials and how-tos for social and community management.
  • Handle YouTube video uploads, video edits, and page builds.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in PR, marketing, communications, business, or similar field
  • 5+ years' experience in professional social media account management with accounts more than 10,000 followers.
  • Ability to work on a non-9-to-5 schedule.
  • Deep knowledge and proficiency in social platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube).
  • Experience using enterprise social publishing tools (e.g., Sprinklr).
  • Experience using YouTube Studio to edit videos.
  • Expertise in setting up, optimizing, budgeting, and scaling paid social advertising campaigns.
  • Ability to engage with customer service teams and route issues to appropriate teams in a timely manner.
  • Experience collaborating with Marketing Managers on campaign ideation, post format and cadence.
  • Experience with using project management tools for daily work assignments and workflows.
  • Comfortable with interpreting Google Analytics and other data dashboards for actionable insights.
  • Ability to digest and share social insights, rooted in data, with key stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in tools and directly on each platform without mistakes.
  • Minor copy-editing skills to provide final quality assurance of copy before scheduling.
  • Excellent quantitative and data analysis skills, with a test and learn mentality.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and planning skills with attention to detail.

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the Colorado, California, Washington State, New York State and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:

The minimum full-time salary range is between $65,000 - $80,000.
