Compensation :

The range displayed reflects the range the company reasonably expects to pay for the position. The actual compensation offered to the selected individual(s) will depend on their geographic location, relevant education, training, or experience, among other bona fide factors.

Expected Minimum Pay Rate :

USD $83,200.00 / Yr.

Expected Maximum Pay Rate :

USD $114,400.00 / Yr.

Responsibilities : What You Will Do

What You Will Do

As our Marketing Manager - Paid Media you will ensure that the media strategy supports the portfolio of brands under The Raleys Companies' strategic goals and drives business results.

This job classification uses data to drive the strategy and oversees all aspects of media buying including strategy, execution, measurement, and budgets across a diverse portfolio of brands.

The Media Manager is responsible for all paid efforts including traditional and digital media, building creative briefs on all media, and overseeing all paid media budgets.

This position manages the Media Coordinator and optimizes outside media buying agencies.

How You will Make a Difference

  • You will develop The Raleys Companies' portfolio of brands paid media strategies to increase sales, customer counts and brand awareness.
  • You will oversee the development of paid media plans based on quarterly budget, target audience, KPIs, and business needs.
  • You will collaborate and integrate with analytics partners and Loyalty Program team to develop target customer groups, set measurement targets to prove ROI on advertising costs.
  • You will provide the media strategy to the Creative Team and advises on how to optimize for KPIs.
  • You will be the liaison between creative and media agencies to communicate and link all initiatives to ensure timeline requirements are met.
  • You will manage and / or oversees creative assets for trafficking and promotional calendars to ensure all messaging aligns with campaign parameters, including time-period, holidays and / or promotions.
  • You will build a strategy to constantly test, measure and learn ways to use marketing budget more effectively.
  • You will identify new ways to ensure the most effective outreach per media vehicle.
  • You will drive the day-to-day management and successful execution of paid media strategies.
  • Writing, directing and overseeing all media-related project briefs that support the strategy.
  • Reviewing media agency proposals and facilitating final sign-off with marketing leadership.
  • Collaborating with third-party agencies to deliver across paid social, programmatic, paid search and influencer collaborations.
  • Ensuring media agency provides new and innovative advertising opportunities as the industry evolves.
  • Actively building relationships with internal stakeholders and business partners to ensure effective execution and results of media strategy.
  • You will manage media-related budget as determined by the annual budget planning session.
  • Monitoring and organizing actual spend by period as compared to LY budget.
  • Ensuring CPMs are aligned with historical benchmarks.
  • Reviewing media purchases to ensure that it meets specifications.
  • You will actively monitors media dashboard to ensure media plan is optimized to achieve specific campaign
  • Reviewing monthly and quarterly media recaps and providing analysis of performance on campaigns.
  • Producing forecasts for future campaigns.
  • You will maintain current knowledge of industry regulations, requirements, and trends.

Must Haves

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Advertising or Marketing or related field and a minimum of five or more (5+) years of experience in digital marketing and paid media advertising with management of agency relationships.
  • Experience delivering successful paid media campaigns.
  • Experience using social technology and data to measure impact and determine improvements.
  • Experience selecting budget allocation for high volume purchases and negotiating agreements with pre-existing and new vendors.
  • Extensive knowledge of paid media advertising practices and technical production, including online.
  • Extensive knowledge in digital media and cross-channel media planning.
  • Strong project management skills, business planning and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to understand and leverage the unique capabilities of each channel to form a cohesive media strategy for assigned audiences and campaign.
  • Ability to proactively identify and solve business problems using media strategy expertise.
  • Proven ability to leverage research to understand audiences : what they need, key challenges, media habits, etc., and apply this knowledge in the form recommendations (journeys, design, offers, messaging, web experiences and content requirements).
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage an ever-changing, multi-faceted media budget.
  • Must demonstrate advanced creative brief writing skills and the ability to collaborate with business partners to execute the media plan.
  • Must demonstrate exceptional communication skills (verbal, business writing and presentation).
  • Ability to translate overall business and advertising requirements into concrete goals, strategies, and project plans.
  • Ability to maintain effective communication and working relationships with internal and external business partners.
  • Strong understanding of customer analytics.
