"As an Organic Social Media and Influencer Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our eCommerce D2C clients. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute social media strategies that align with our client's marketing goals and resonate with their target audience. You will work closely with our clients to understand their brand, products or services, and target audience, and then develop social media campaigns that will engage, inform and inspire their audience.

You will also be responsible for managing influencer partnerships that will help amplify our clients' brand messaging and reach a broader audience. This will involve identifying relevant influencers, reaching out to them, negotiating partnerships, and managing contracts. In addition, you will have the opportunity to conduct client training sessions to help them understand the importance of social media and how to leverage it for their business.

Your success in this role will depend on your ability to create compelling content that aligns with our client's brand and resonates with their target audience. You will collaborate with internal teams, including content creators and graphic designers, to develop visual assets and written content for social media.

You will also need to stay up-to-date with industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to ensure our client's social media strategies are effective and efficient. You will monitor social media analytics and adjust campaigns accordingly to improve engagement and ROI.

Ultimately, your role as an Organic Social Media and Influencer Manager is to help our eCommerce D2C clients achieve their marketing goals by creating and executing effective social media strategies and managing influencer partnerships that will drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and generate revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies for our eCommerce D2C clients across multiple social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. This includes creating a content calendar, identifying key themes and messaging, and planning campaigns in advance.
  • Create and curate engaging content that aligns with our client's brand and resonates with their target audience. This includes developing and sourcing original content, as well as reposting and sharing relevant user-generated content.
  • Manage influencer partnerships, including outreach, negotiation, and contract management. This includes identifying suitable influencers, negotiating terms of partnership, and managing influencer relationships throughout the campaign.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including content creators and graphic designers, to develop visual assets and written content for social media. This includes briefing designers and copywriters on campaign requirements, reviewing and providing feedback on their work, and ensuring all content is optimized for social media platforms.
  • Monitor social media analytics and adjust campaigns accordingly to improve engagement and ROI. This includes analyzing key metrics such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates, and making data-driven decisions to optimize campaigns in real time.
  • Conduct client training sessions to help them understand the importance of social media and how to leverage it for their business. This includes delivering presentations and workshops, providing strategic advice and guidance, and answering client questions and concerns.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to ensure our client's social media strategies are effective and efficient. This includes attending industry events, networking with peers, and conducting research on emerging trends and technologies.

Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, best practices, and analytics. This includes a thorough understanding of each platform's algorithm, user behavior, and content formats, as well as a familiarity with social media advertising and targeting options.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain strong relationships with influencers and clients. This includes a confident and professional communication style, an ability to clearly articulate complex ideas, and a talent for persuasion and negotiation.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and adjust campaigns accordingly. This includes a deep understanding of social media metrics, such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates, as well as proficiency in data analysis tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook Insights.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop unique and engaging social media campaigns. This includes an ability to think outside the box, generate fresh ideas, and develop campaigns that cut through the noise and capture attention.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. This includes excellent time-management and organizational skills, an ability to work well under pressure, and a proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and content marketing. This includes a knowledge of how social media fits into the broader digital marketing landscape, as well as an understanding of how to optimize social media content for search engines.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms, such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Google Analytics, and Facebook Business Manager. This includes knowledge of how to use these tools to schedule content, monitor analytics, and optimize campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. This includes a talent for copywriting, an ability to write in a variety of styles and tones, and a clear and confident speaking voice.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines. This includes an ability to catch errors and typos, a commitment to delivering high-quality work, and an ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in social media management and influencer marketing.
  • Experience working with eCommerce D2C clients
  • Proven experience as an Organic Social Media and Influencer Manager
  • A strong portfolio of successful social media campaigns and influencer partnerships.

Additional Information

  • This is a 1099 independent contractor position
  • 100% remote work
  • The number of work hours is based on the number of client accounts you have at any given time
  • You have a flexible schedule, but meetings and communications with clients occur between the hours of 9 am - 5 pm EST
  • You have the freedom to set your own rate; ideal rate between $25-50/HR DOE
  • You won't have to hunt for your own client leads
  • The ecosystem comes with various support functions, including scheduling, a designated billing department, and other admin functions so you can focus on what you do best
  • You will have designated email and Zoom lines for client communication"
