Associate Manager, Paid Media

6+ month W2 Contract

Pay rate: $30-35/hr.

Location: Remote, PST, preferably SF Bay Area

The Sage Groups client is searching for an Associate Manager, Paid Media. This role will be responsible for coordinating and executing a full funnel B2C paid media approach for North American markets. In partnership with the Manager of Paid Strategy, this person will take the lead in execution of B2C paid media campaigns through production and performance share outs. Opportunity exists, as we continue to add to the frequency of campaigns, to take on planning responsibilities that support our Manager, Paid Media.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan and Execute Media Campaigns

Set Up Partners for Success:

Hold the internal teams accountable to timelines that allow for great media executions

Contribute to media and publisher briefings by providing our partners the strategic background necessary for them to create usable recommendations

Push our partners towards more innovative, strategic plans by questioning approaches and providing your own knowledge

Become the Media General Liaison:

With Creative:

Consult on media plan placements to ensure they ladder into creative territory

Provide detailed ad asset requests to creative team based on media plan

Push for bespoke creative assets for specific media placements

Ensure creative best practices and ad specs are being followed during creative production

With Legal Submit messaging and creative to legal for intellectual property review

Assist pushing contracts and negotiations along

With Finance & Accounts Payable

Ensure that media partners are paid on time by collaborating with Accounts Payable

Maintain tracker of invoices

With External Agencies

Be another day-to-day contact with the media and creative agencies

Help provide operational direction

Become An Internal Paid Media Expert

Understand the Landscape:

Build relationships with media representatives to maintain business partnerships and give account updates and briefings for industry trends.

Understand our competitors:

Track competitive spending and media initiatives

Identify Strategic Mediums:

Since youll understand whats available and what others are doing, identify opportunities and whitespaces that we should test into

Skills: QUALIFICATIONS:

3+ years of marketing experience at an agency or in-house

Previous experience buying media preferred

Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple work streams at once

Ability to work cross-functionally and independently when needed

Strong analytical skills - ability to analyze raw data, identify insights, and develop actionable recommendations

Curious and not afraid to challenge the status quo

Exceptional verbal & written communication skills

Alignment with our mission

Previous media buying agency experience, CPG experience.
