We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing team as a Paid Media Buyer / Planner. This role will lead the day-to-day management of paid media buying and planning for our clients. We work in many verticals including Hospitality and Tourism, e-commerce, Political, Financial and more. You will collaborate and coordinate across multiple internal teams to ensure that the client and their needs are not only met, but exceeded.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and execute media plans and buys for several clients. This can be inclusive of traditional media (television, radio, print and out-of-home) but is primarily digital media (paid social, paid search and programmatic display. native and video).
- Ensure proper trafficking, creative allocation, and billing for several clients.
- Proactively optimize campaigns.
- Prepare and present campaign reporting/recommendations to both client and internal teams.
- Set up and monitor digital and traditional paid media campaigns within various platforms (Strata/Freewheel, Sizmek, Google, Bing, Meta, Twitter, Tapclicks, etc.).
- Set up Google events, tagging, conversion tracking, and pixels for campaigns as needed.
- Analyze web traffic metrics and suggest solutions to boost web presence.
- Assist with Invoicing and Client Billing.
- Keep up-to-date with audience preferences and proactively suggest new recommendations.
- Liaise with Marketing, Sales, Design and Content teams to optimize customer experience and ensure brand consistency.
- Research industry trends and stay abreast of current and upcoming technology to support current and future media plans.
- Maintain ongoing knowledge of paid media in this ever changing atmosphere.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum of 5 years marketing and advertising or related experience.
- Hands-on experience running paid advertising campaigns (Meta, Google Adwords, YouTube, Programmatic). Traditional buying experience is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience with Google Analytics or related analytics platform.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both in a team and independently.
- Ability to learn/self-teach new concepts quickly and apply them.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Passion for the advertising and marketing industry.
- Passion for reporting, analytics and results.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as Mac iWork (Pages, Numbers, Keynote) and GoogleSuite.
This is a full-time position reporting directly to senior leadership. Our office is located in Knoxville, Tennessee and we enjoy a hybrid work schedule as well as many team building opportunities such as happy hours, holiday parties, awards functions and more.
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or advertising related fields and have at least two years of experience in digital marketing and advertising. The candidate will enjoy high levels of responsibility and autonomy and should show an ability for creativity and strategic thinking. Advanced computer proficiency is required.
