Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic, data-driven, best-in-class performance media talent to join the Peacock team as the Specialist of Paid Media. This is a critical role within the Growth Marketing Team, specifically the Sports Media pod.

As a Media Specialist, you will help plan and execute marketing campaigns for Peacock’s portfolio of originals content with the goal of optimizing media to drive efficient subscriber acquisitions at scale and build excitement/demand for Peacock content.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • You will support the media strategy for Peacock’s Sport content including NFL, College Football, Premier League and many others. Ensuring content is promoted to relevant audiences and positioned in line with the communication strategy.
  • Assist in the production of media briefs by collaborating with internal marketing teams and agencies to identify audience groups, develop marketing/audience/competitor insights, budget setting and defining roles of media across the entire customer journey
  • Work closely with the external Media agencies and in-house channel teams to plan paid media across channels including Television, Out-of-home, radio, print, digital & Social channels.
  • Liaise with media channel owners, creative team, platform/vendor partners and key marketing stakeholders to implement best practices across paid media tactics using Peacock’s first party and third party to inform decisions while staying true to the Peacock brand.
  • Assist in the compilation, analysis and evaluation of campaign performance to make recommendations on in-flight optimizations and post-campaign learning to apply to future campaigns.
  • Continued evaluation and assessment of media trends and landscape as well as competitive activity.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in media or communications planning in either a media agency or client media role
  • Excellent or Advanced project management and interpersonal skills, with ability to take initiative in a challenging, fast-paced environment of multiple priorities.

You Might Also Have

  • Experience at a media agency, creative agency, or working directly for a brand marketing team.
  • Experience either buying media directly through prominent ad networks like Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok, Reddit or Google and/or supporting media buying teams via creative asset development/procurement.
  • Experience marketing entertainment/streaming brands and content.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Self-motivated and results oriented with a high regard for attention to detail.
  • Ability to both think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret data and use insights to inform marketing campaigns and make recommendations.
  • Experience working in a highly fast-paced environment, being accountable and learning from mistakes.
  • Strong passion for television, movies, entertainment and technology.

Salary range: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00
